Ephesians 1:1-10

1Paul, 1an apostle of 2Christ Jesus 3 4by the will of God,

To the 5 6saints who are 7at 8Ephesus and 9who are faithful in 10Christ Jesus: 2 11Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

3 12Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in 13the heavenly places in Christ, 4just as 14He chose us in Him before 15the foundation of the world, that we would be 16holy and blameless before 17Him. 18In love 5 19He 20predestined us to 21adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, 22according to the 23kind intention of His will, 6 24to the praise of the glory of His grace, which He freely bestowed on us in 25the Beloved. 7 26In 27Him we have 28redemption 29through His blood, the 30forgiveness of our trespasses, according to 31the riches of His grace 8which He 32lavished on 33us. In all wisdom and insight 9He 34 35made known to us the mystery of His will, 36according to His 37kind intention which He 38purposed in Him 10with a view to an administration 39suitable to 40the fullness of the times, that is, 41the summing up of all things in Christ, things 42in the heavens and things on the earth.
