1 Timothy 3:12-16
121Deacons must be 2husbands of only one wife, and 34good managers of their children and their own households. 13For those who have served well as deacons 5obtain for themselves a 6high standing and great confidence in the faith that is in Christ Jesus.
14I am writing these things to you, hoping to come to you before long; 15but 7in case I am delayed, I write so that you will know how 8one ought to conduct himself in 9the household of God, which is the 10church of 11the living God, the 12pillar and support of the truth. 16By common confession, great is 13the mystery of godliness: He who was 14revealed in the flesh, Was 1516vindicated 17in the Spirit, 18Seen by angels, 19Proclaimed among the nations, 20Believed on in the world, 21Taken up in glory.
