1 Corinthians 6:2-20
2Or 1do you not know that 2the 3saints will judge 4the world? If the world is judged by you, are you not competent to 5constitute the smallest law courts? 36Do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more matters of this life? 4So if you have law courts dealing with matters of this life, 7do you appoint them as judges who are of no account in the church? 58I say this to your shame. Is it so, that there is not among you one wise man who will be able to decide between his 9brethren, 6but brother goes to law with brother, and that before 10unbelievers?
7Actually, then, it is already a defeat for you, that you have lawsuits with one another. 11Why not rather be wronged? Why not rather be defrauded? 8On the contrary, you yourselves wrong and defraud. You do this even to your 12brethren.
9Or 13do you not know that the unrighteous will not 14inherit the kingdom of God? 15Do not be deceived; 16neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor 17effeminate, nor homosexuals, 10nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will 18inherit the kingdom of God. 1119Such were some of you; but you were 20washed, but you were 21sanctified, but you were 22justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.
1223All things are lawful for me, but not all things are profitable. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be mastered by anything. 1324Food is for the 25stomach and the 26stomach is for food, but God will 27do away with both 28of them. Yet the body is not for immorality, but 29for the Lord, and 30the Lord is for the body. 14Now God has not only 31raised the Lord, but 32will also raise us up through His power. 1533Do you not know that 34your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take away the members of Christ and make them members of a prostitute? 35May it never be! 16Or 36do you not know that the one who joins himself to a prostitute is one body with her? For He says, “37The two shall become one flesh.” 17But the one who joins himself to the Lord is 38one spirit with Him. 1839Flee immorality. Every other sin that a man commits is outside the body, but the 40immoral man sins against his own body. 19Or 41do you not know that 42your body is a 43temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from 44God, and that 45you are not your own? 20For 46you have been bought with a price: therefore glorify God in 47your body.
