2Speakדַּבֵּ֞רda.BerH1696unto the childrenבְּנֵ֤יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵל֙Yis.ra.'ElH3478,and sayוְאָמַרְתָּ֣ve.'a.mar.TaH559unto them, When ye comeתָבֹ֙אוּ֙ta.Vo.'uH935into the landהָאָ֔רֶץha.'A.retzH776which I giveנֹתֵ֣ןno.TenH5414you, then shall the landהָאָ֔רֶץha.'A.retzH776keepוְשָׁבְתָ֣הve.shav.TahH7673a sabbathשַׁבָּ֖תsha.BatH7676unto the Lordלַיהוָֽה׃la.Yah.wehH3068.

3Sixשֵׁ֤שׁsheshH8337yearsשָׁנִים֙sha.NimH8141thou shalt sowתִּזְרַ֣עtiz.Ra'H2232thy fieldשָׂדֶ֔ךָsa.De.khaH7704,and sixוְשֵׁ֥שׁve.SheshH8337yearsשָׁנִ֖יםsha.NimH8141thou shalt pruneתִּזְמֹ֣רtiz.MorH2168thy vineyardכַּרְמֶ֑ךָkar.Me.khaH3754,and gatherוְאָסַפְתָּ֖ve.'a.saf.TaH622in the fruitתְּבוּאָתָֽהּ׃te.vu.'a.TahH8393thereof;

4But in the seventhהַשְּׁבִיעִ֗תha.she.vi.'ItH7637yearוּבַשָּׁנָ֣הu.va.sha.NahH8141shall be a sabbathשַׁבַּ֤תsha.BatH7676of restשַׁבָּתוֹן֙sha.ba.tOnH7677unto the landלָאָ֔רֶץla.'A.retzH776,a sabbathשַׁבָּ֖תsha.BatH7676for the Lordלַיהוָ֑הla.Yah.wehH3068:thou shalt neither sowתִזְרָ֔עtiz.Ra'H2232thy fieldשָֽׂדְךָ֙sa.de.KhaH7704,nor pruneתִזְמֹֽר׃tiz.MorH2168thy vineyardוְכַרְמְךָ֖ve.khar.me.KhaH3754.

5That which groweth of its own accordסְפִ֤יחַse.Fi.achH5599of thy harvestקְצִֽירְךָ֙ke.tzi.re.ChaH7105thou shalt not reapתִקְצ֔וֹרtik.TzorH7114,neither gatherתִבְצֹ֑רtiv.TzorH1219the grapesעִנְּבֵ֥י'i.ne.VeiH6025of thy vine undressedנְזִירֶ֖ךָne.zi.Re.khaH5139: forit is a yearשְׁנַ֥תshe.NatH8141of restשַׁבָּת֖וֹןsha.ba.TonH7677unto the landלָאָֽרֶץ׃la.'A.retzH776.

6And the sabbathשַׁבַּ֨תsha.BatH7676of the landהָאָ֤רֶץha.'A.retzH776shall be meatלְאָכְלָ֔הle.'okh.LahH402for you; for thee, and for thy servantוּלְעַבְדְּךָ֣u.le.'av.de.KhaH5650,and for thy maidוְלַאֲמָתֶ֑ךָve.la.'a.ma.Te.khaH519,and for thy hired servantוְלִשְׂכִֽירְךָ֙ve.lis.khi.re.KhaH7916,and for thy strangerוּלְתוֹשָׁ֣בְךָ֔ul.to.Sha.ve.khaH8453that sojournethהַגָּרִ֖יםha.ga.RimH1481with thee,

7And for thy cattleוְלִ֨בְהֶמְתְּךָ֔ve.Liv.hem.te.khaH929,and for the beastוְלַֽחַיָּ֖הve.la.chai.YahH2416that arein thy landבְּאַרְצֶ֑ךָbe.'ar.Tze.khaH776,shall all the increaseתְּבוּאָתָ֖הּte.vu.'a.TahH8393thereof be meatלֶאֱכֹֽל׃ סle.'e.KholH398.

8And thou shalt numberוְסָפַרְתָּ֣ve.sa.far.TaH5608sevenשֶׁ֚בַעShe.va'H7651sabbathsשַׁבְּתֹ֣תsha.be.TotH7676of yearsשָׁנִ֔יםsha.NimH8141unto thee, sevenשֶׁ֥בַעShe.va'H7651timesפְּעָמִ֑יםpe.'a.MimH6471sevenשֶׁ֣בַעShe.va'H7651yearsשָׁנִ֖יםsha.NimH8141;and the spaceיְמֵי֙ye.MeiH3117of the sevenשֶׁ֚בַעShe.va'H7651sabbathsשַׁבְּתֹ֣תsha.be.TotH7676of yearsהַשָּׁנִ֔יםha.sha.NimH8141shall be unto thee fortyוְאַרְבָּעִ֖יםve.'ar.ba.'ImH705and nineתֵּ֥שַׁעTe.sha'H8672yearsשָׁנָֽה׃sha.NahH8141.

9Then shalt thou cause the trumpetשׁוֹפַ֤רsho.FarH7782of the jubileתְּרוּעָה֙te.ru.'AhH8643to soundוְהַֽעֲבַרְתָּ֞ve.ha.'a.var.TaH5674on the tenthבֶּעָשׂ֖וֹרbe.'a.SorH6218dayof the seventhהַשְּׁבִעִ֔יha.she.vi.'IH7637monthH2320,in the dayבְּיוֹם֙be.yOmH3117of atonementהַכִּפֻּרִ֔יםha.ki.pu.RimH3725shall ye make the trumpetשׁוֹפָ֖רsho.FarH7782soundתַּעֲבִ֥ירוּta.'a.Vi.ruH5674throughout all your landאַרְצְכֶֽם׃'ar.tze.KhemH776.

10And ye shall hallowוְקִדַּשְׁתֶּ֗םve.ki.dash.TemH6942the fiftiethשְׁנַ֤ת הַחֲמִשִּׁים֙she.Nat ha.cha.mi.ShimH8141 H2572yearשָׁנָ֔הsha.NahH8141,and proclaimוּקְרָאתֶ֥םu.ke.ra.TemH7121libertyדְּר֛וֹרde.RorH1865throughout allthe landבָּאָ֖רֶץba.'A.retzH776unto all the inhabitantsיֹשְׁבֶ֑יהָyo.she.Vei.haH3427thereof: it shall be a jubileיוֹבֵ֥לyo.VelH3104unto you; and ye shall returnוְשַׁבְתֶּ֗םve.shav.TemH7725every manאִ֚ישׁ'ishH376unto his possessionאֲחֻזָּת֔וֹ'a.chu.za.ToH272,and ye shall returnתָּשֻֽׁבוּ׃ta.Shu.vuH7725every manוְאִ֥ישׁve.'IshH376unto his familyמִשְׁפַּחְתּ֖וֹmish.pach.ToH4940.

11A jubileיוֹבֵ֣לyo.VelH3104shall that fiftiethשְׁנַ֛ת הַחֲמִשִּׁ֥יםshe.Nat ha.cha.mi.ShimH8141 H2572yearשָׁנָ֖הsha.NahH8141be unto you: ye shall not sowתִזְרָ֔עוּtiz.Ra.'uH2232,neither reapתִקְצְרוּ֙tik.tze.RuH7114that which growethסְפִיחֶ֔יהָse.fi.Chei.haH5599of itself in it, nor gatherתִבְצְר֖וּtiv.tze.RuH1219the grapesin it of thy vine undressedנְזִרֶֽיהָ׃ne.zi.Rei.haH5139.

12For it isthe jubileיוֹבֵ֣לyo.VelH3104;it shall be holyקֹ֖דֶשׁKo.deshH6944unto you: ye shall eatתֹּאכְל֖וּto.khe.LuH398the increaseתְּבוּאָתָֽהּ׃te.vu.'a.TahH8393thereof out of the fieldהַ֨שָּׂדֶ֔הha.sa.DehH7704.

13In the yearבִּשְׁנַ֥תbish.NatH8141of this jubileהַיּוֹבֵ֖לhai.yo.VelH3104ye shall returnתָּשֻׁ֕בוּta.Shu.vuH7725every manאִ֖ישׁ'ishH376unto his possessionאֲחֻזָּתֽוֹ׃'a.chu.za.ToH272.

14And if thou sellתִמְכְּר֤וּtim.ke.RuH4376oughtמִמְכָּר֙mi.KarH4465unto thy neighbourלַעֲמִיתֶ֔ךָla.'a.mi.Te.khaH5997,or buyestקָנֹ֖הka.NohH7069oughtof thy neighbour’sעֲמִיתֶ֑ךָ'a.mi.Te.khaH5997handמִיַּ֣דmi.YadH3027,ye shall not oppressתּוֹנ֖וּto.NuH3238oneאִ֥ישׁ'ishH376anotherאָחִֽיו׃'a.ChivH251:

15According to the numberבְּמִסְפַּ֤רbe.mis.ParH4557of yearsשָׁנִים֙sha.NimH8141afterאַחַ֣ר'a.CharH310the jubileהַיּוֹבֵ֔לhai.yo.VelH3104thou shalt buyתִּקְנֶ֖הtik.NehH7069of thy neighbourעֲמִיתֶ֑ךָ'a.mi.Te.khaH5997, andaccording unto the numberבְּמִסְפַּ֥רbe.mis.ParH4557of yearsשְׁנֵֽי־she.nei-H8141of the fruitsתְבוּאֹ֖תte.vu.'OtH8393he shall sellיִמְכָּר־yim.kor-H4376unto thee:

16Accordingלְפִ֣י׀le.FiH6310to the multitudeרֹ֣בroH7230of yearsהַשָּׁנִ֗יםha.sha.NimH8141thou shalt increaseתַּרְבֶּה֙tar.BehH7235the priceמִקְנָת֔וֹmik.na.ToH4736thereof, and accordingוּלְפִי֙u.le.FiH6310to the fewnessמְעֹ֣טme.'OtH4591of yearsהַשָּׁנִ֔יםha.sha.NimH8141thou shalt diminishתַּמְעִ֖יטtam.'ItH4591the priceמִקְנָת֑וֹmik.na.ToH4736of it: for accordingto the numberמִסְפַּ֣רmis.ParH4557of the yearsof the fruitsתְּבוּאֹ֔תte.vu.'OtH8393doth he sellמֹכֵ֖רmo.KherH4376unto thee.

17Ye shall not therefore oppressתוֹנוּ֙to.NuH3238oneאִ֣ישׁ'ishH376anotherעֲמִית֔וֹa.mi.ToH5997;but thou shalt fearוְיָרֵ֖אתָve.ya.Re.taH3372thy Godמֵֽאֱלֹהֶ֑יךָme.'e.lo.Hei.khaH430: for I amthe Lordיְהֹוָ֖הYah.wehH3068your Godאֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם׃'e.lo.hei.KhemH430.

18Wherefore ye shall doוַעֲשִׂיתֶם֙va.'a.si.TemH6213my statutesחֻקֹּתַ֔יchu.ko.TaiH2708,and keepתִּשְׁמְר֖וּtish.me.RuH8104my judgmentsמִשְׁפָּטַ֥יmish.pa.TaiH4941,and doוַעֲשִׂיתֶ֣םva.'a.si.TemH6213them; and ye shall dwellוִֽישַׁבְתֶּ֥םvi.shav.TemH3427in the landהָאָ֖רֶץha.'A.retzH776in safetyלָבֶֽטַח׃la.Ve.tachH983.

19And the landהָאָ֙רֶץ֙ha.'A.retzH776shall yieldוְנָתְנָ֤הve.nat.NahH5414her fruitפִּרְיָ֔הּpir.YahH6529,and ye shall eatוַאֲכַלְתֶּ֖םva.'a.khal.TemH398your fillלָשֹׂ֑בַעla.Soa'H7648,and dwellוִֽישַׁבְתֶּ֥םvi.shav.TemH3427therein in safetyלָבֶ֖טַחla.Ve.tachH983.

20And if ye shall sayתֹאמְר֔וּto.me.RuH559,What shall we eatנֹּאכַ֤֖לno.KhalH398the seventhהַשְּׁבִיעִ֑תha.she.vi.'ItH7637yearבַּשָּׁנָ֣הba.sha.NahH8141?behold, we shall not sowנִזְרָ֔עniz.Ra'H2232,nor gatherנֶאֱסֹ֖ףne.'e.SofH622in our increaseתְּבוּאָתֵֽנוּ׃te.vu.'a.Te.nuH8393:

21Then I will commandוְצִוִּ֤יתִיve.tzi.Vi.tiH6680my blessingבִּרְכָתִי֙bir.kha.TiH1293upon you in the sixthהַשִּׁשִּׁ֑יתha.shi.ShitH8345yearבַּשָּׁנָ֖הba.sha.NahH8141,and it shall bring forthוְעָשָׂת֙ve.'a.SatH6213fruitהַתְּבוּאָ֔הha.te.vu.'AhH8393for threeלִשְׁלֹ֖שׁlish.LoshH7969yearsהַשָּׁנִֽים׃ha.sha.NimH8141.

22And ye shall sowוּזְרַעְתֶּ֗םu.ze.ra'.TemH2232the eighthהַשְּׁמִינִ֔תha.she.mi.NitH8066yearהַשָּׁנָ֣הha.sha.NahH8141,and eatוַאֲכַלְתֶּ֖םva.'a.khal.TemH398yetof oldיָשָׁ֑ןya.ShanH3465fruitהַתְּבוּאָ֣הha.te.vu.'AhH8393until the ninthהַתְּשִׁיעִ֗תha.te.shi.'ItH8671yearהַשָּׁנָ֣הha.sha.NahH8141;until her fruitsתְּב֣וּאָתָ֔הּte.Vu.'a.TahH8393come inבּוֹא֙bO'H935ye shall eatתֹּאכְל֖וּto.khe.LuH398ofthe oldיָשָֽׁן׃ya.ShanH3465store.

23The landוְהָאָ֗רֶץve.ha.'A.retzH776shall not be soldתִמָּכֵר֙ti.ma.KherH4376for everלִצְמִתֻ֔תlitz.mi.TutH6783:for the landהָאָ֑רֶץha.'A.retzH776is mine; for ye arestrangersגֵרִ֧יםge.RimH1616and sojournersוְתוֹשָׁבִ֛יםve.to.sha.VimH8453with me.

24And in all the landאֶ֣רֶץ'E.retzH776of your possessionאֲחֻזַּתְכֶ֑ם'a.chu.zat.KhemH272ye shall grantתִּתְּנ֥וּti.te.NuH5414a redemptionגְּאֻלָּ֖הge.'u.LahH1353for the landלָאָֽרֶץ׃ סla.'A.retzH776.

25If thy brotherאָחִ֔יךָ'a.Chi.khaH251be waxen poorיָמ֣וּךְya.MukhH4134,and hath soldוּמָכַ֖רu.ma.KharH4376away someof his possessionמֵאֲחֻזָּת֑וֹme.'a.chu.za.ToH272,and if any of his kinהַקָּרֹ֣בha.ka.RoH7138comeוּבָ֤אu.Va'H935to redeemגֹֽאֲלוֹ֙go.'a.LoH1350it, then shall he redeemוְגָאַ֕לve.ga.'AlH1350that which his brotherאָחִֽיו׃'a.ChivH251soldמִמְכַּ֥רmi.KarH4465.

26And if the manוְאִ֕ישׁve.'IshH376have none to redeemגֹּאֵ֑לgo.'ElH1350it, and himselfיָד֔וֹya.DoH3027be ableוְהִשִּׂ֣יגָה כְּדֵ֥יve.hi.Si.gah ke.DeiH5381 H1767to redeemוּמָצָ֖א גְאֻלָּתֽוֹ׃u.ma.Tza' ge.'u.la.ToH1353 H4672it;

27Then let him countוְחִשַּׁב֙ve.chi.ShavH2803the yearsשְׁנֵ֣יshe.NeiH8141of the saleמִמְכָּר֔וֹmi.ka.RoH4465thereof, and restoreוְהֵשִׁיב֙ve.he.ShivH7725the overplusהָ֣עֹדֵ֔ףha.'o.DefH5736unto the manלָאִ֖ישׁla.'IshH376to whom he soldמָֽכַר־ma.khar-H4376it; that he may returnוְשָׁ֖בve.ShavH7725unto his possessionלַאֲחֻזָּתֽוֹ׃la.'a.chu.za.ToH272.

28But if heיָד֗וֹya.DoH3027be not ableדֵּי֮deiH1767to restoreמָֽצְאָ֜ה הָשִׁ֣יבma.tze.'Ah ha.ShivH7725 H4672itto him, then that which is soldמִמְכָּר֗וֹmi.ka.RoH4465shall remain in the handבְּיַד֙be.YadH3027of him that hath boughtהַקֹּנֶ֣הha.ko.NehH7069it until the yearשְׁנַ֣תshe.NatH8141of jubileהַיּוֹבֵ֑לhai.yo.VelH3104:and in the jubileבַּיֹּבֵ֔לbai.yo.VelH3104it shall go outוְיָצָא֙ve.ya.Tza'H3318,and he shall returnוְשָׁ֖בve.ShavH7725unto his possessionלַאֲחֻזָּתֽוֹ׃la.'a.chu.za.ToH272.

29And if a manוְאִ֗ישׁve.'IshH376sellיִמְכֹּ֤רyim.KorH4376a dwellingמוֹשַׁב֙mo.ShavH4186houseבֵּית־beit-H1004in a walledחוֹמָ֔הcho.MahH2346cityעִ֣יר'irH5892,then he may redeemגְּאֻלָּת֔וֹge.'u.la.ToH1353it within a wholeתֹּ֖םtomH8552yearשְׁנַ֣תshe.NatH8141after it is soldמִמְכָּר֑וֹmi.ka.RoH4465; withina full yearיָמִ֖יםya.MimH3117may he redeemגְאֻלָּתֽוֹ׃ge.'u.la.ToH1353it.

30And if it be not redeemedיִגָּאֵ֗לyi.ga.'ElH1350within the spaceמְלֹ֣אתme.LotH4390of a fullתְמִימָה֒te.mi.MahH8549yearשָׁנָ֣הsha.NahH8141,then the houseהַבַּ֨יִתha.Ba.yitH1004that isin the walledחֹמָ֗הcho.MahH2346cityבָּעִ֜ירba.'IrH5892shall be establishedוְ֠קָםVe.komH6965for everלַצְּמִיתֻ֛תla.tze.mi.TutH6783to him that boughtלַקֹּנֶ֥הla.ko.NehH7069it throughout his generationsלְדֹרֹתָ֑יוle.do.ro.TavH1755:it shall not go outיֵצֵ֖אye.Tze'H3318in the jubileבַּיֹּבֵֽל׃bai.yo.VelH3104.

31But the housesוּבָתֵּ֣יu.va.TeiH1004of the villagesהַחֲצֵרִ֗יםha.cha.tze.RimH2691which have no wallחֹמָה֙cho.MahH2346round aboutסָבִ֔יבsa.VivH5439them shall be countedיֵחָשֵׁ֑בye.cha.ShevH2803as the fieldsשְׂדֵ֥הse.DehH7704of the countryהָאָ֖רֶץha.'A.retzH776:they may be redeemedגְּאֻלָּה֙ge.'u.LahH1353,and they shall go outיֵצֵֽא׃ye.Tze'H3318in the jubileוּבַיֹּבֵ֖לu.vai.yo.VelH3104.

32Notwithstanding the citiesוְעָרֵי֙ve.'a.ReiH5892of the Levitesהַלְוִיִּ֔םhal.vi.YimH3881, andthe housesבָּתֵּ֖יba.TeiH1004of the citiesעָרֵ֣י'a.ReiH5892of their possessionאֲחֻזָּתָ֑ם'a.chu.za.TamH272,may the Levitesלַלְוִיִּֽם׃lal.vi.YimH3881redeemגְּאֻלַּ֥תge.'u.LatH1353at any timeעוֹלָ֖םo.LamH5769.

33And if a man purchaseיִגְאַל֙yig.'AlH1350of the Levitesהַלְוִיִּ֔םhal.vi.YimH3881,then the houseבַּ֛יִתBa.yitH1004that was soldמִמְכַּר־mi.kar-H4465,and the cityוְעִ֥ירve.'IrH5892of his possessionאֲחֻזָּת֖וֹ'a.chu.za.ToH272,shall go outוְיָצָ֧אve.ya.Tza'H3318in the year ofjubileבַּיֹּבֵ֑לbai.yo.VelH3104:for the housesבָתֵּ֞יva.TeiH1004of the citiesעָרֵ֣י'a.ReiH5892of the Levitesהַלְוִיִּ֗םhal.vi.YimH3881aretheir possessionאֲחֻזָּתָ֔ם'a.chu.za.TamH272amongבְּת֖וֹךְbe.TokhH8432the childrenבְּנֵ֥יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478.

34But the fieldוּֽשְׂדֵ֛הu.se.DehH7704of the suburbsמִגְרַ֥שׁmig.RashH4054of their citiesעָרֵיהֶ֖ם'a.rei.HemH5892may not be soldיִמָּכֵ֑רyi.ma.KherH4376; for it istheir perpetualעוֹלָ֛םo.LamH5769possessionאֲחֻזַּ֥ת'a.chu.ZatH272.

35And if thy brotherאָחִ֔יךָ'a.Chi.khaH251be waxen poorיָמ֣וּךְya.MukhH4134,and fallen in decayוּמָ֥טָהu.Ma.tahH4131with theeיָד֖וֹya.DoH3027;then thou shalt relieveוְהֶֽחֱזַ֣קְתָּve.he.che.Zak.taH2388him: yea, though he bea strangerגֵּ֧רgerH1616,or a sojournerוְתוֹשָׁ֛בve.to.ShavH8453;that he may liveH2416with thee.

36Takeתִּקַּ֤חti.KachH3947thou no usuryנֶ֣שֶׁךְNe.shekhH5392of him, or increaseוְתַרְבִּ֔יתve.tar.BitH8636:but fearוְיָרֵ֖אתָve.ya.Re.taH3372thy Godמֵֽאֱלֹהֶ֑יךָme.'e.lo.Hei.khaH430;that thy brotherאָחִ֖יךָ'a.Chi.khaH251may liveH2416with thee.

37Thou shalt not giveתִתֵּ֥ןti.TenH5414him thy moneyכַּסְפְּךָ֔kas.pe.KhaH3701upon usuryבְּנֶ֑שֶׁךְbe.Ne.shekhH5392,nor lendתִתֵּ֥ןti.TenH5414him thy victualsאָכְלֶֽךָ׃'a.khe.Le.khaH400for increaseוּבְמַרְבִּ֖יתu.ve.mar.BitH4768.

38I amthe Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068your Godאֱלֹ֣הֵיכֶ֔ם'e.Lo.hei.KhemH430,which brought you forthהוֹצֵ֥אתִיho.Tze.tiH3318out of the landמֵאֶ֣רֶץme.'E.retzH776of Egyptמִצְרָ֑יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714,to giveלָתֵ֤תla.TetH5414you the landאֶ֣רֶץ'E.retzH776of Canaanכְּנַ֔עַןke.Na.'anH3667, andto be your Godלֵאלֹהִֽים׃ סle.lo.HimH430.

39And if thy brotherאָחִ֛יךָ'a.Chi.khaH251that dwellethby thee be waxen poorיָמ֥וּךְya.MukhH4134,and be soldוְנִמְכַּר־ve.nim.kar-H4376unto thee; thou shalt not compelתַעֲבֹ֥דta.'a.VodH5647him to serveעֲבֹ֥דַת'a.Vo.datH5656as a bondservantעָֽבֶד׃'A.vedH5650:

40Butas an hired servantכְּשָׂכִ֥ירke.sa.KhirH7916, andas a sojournerכְּתוֹשָׁ֖בke.to.ShavH8453, he shall be with thee, andshall serveיַעֲבֹ֥דya.'a.VodH5647thee unto the yearשְׁנַ֥תshe.NatH8141of jubileהַיֹּבֵ֖לhai.yo.VelH3104:
