1The burdenמַשָּׂ֖אma.Sa'H4853of Damascusדַּמָּ֑שֶׂקda.Ma.sekH1834.Behold, Damascusדַמֶּ֙שֶׂק֙da.Me.sekH1834is taken awayמוּסָ֣רmu.SarH5493from beinga cityמֵעִ֔ירme.'IrH5892,and it shall be a ruinousמַפָּלָֽה׃ma.pa.LahH4654heapמְעִ֥יme.'IH4596.

2The citiesעָרֵ֣י'a.ReiH5892of Aroerעֲרֹעֵ֑ר'a.ro.'ErH6177areforsakenעֲזֻב֖וֹתa.zu.VotH5800:they shall be for flocksלַעֲדָרִ֣יםla.'a.da.RimH5739,which shall lie downוְרָבְצ֖וּve.ra.ve.TzuH7257, and none shall make themafraidמַחֲרִֽיד׃ma.cha.RidH2729.

3The fortressמִבְצָר֙miv.TzarH4013also shall ceaseוְנִשְׁבַּ֤תve.nish.BatH7673from Ephraimמֵֽאֶפְרַ֔יִםme.'ef.Ra.yimH669,and the kingdomוּמַמְלָכָ֥הu.mam.la.KhahH4467from Damascusמִדַּמֶּ֖שֶׂקmi.da.Me.sekH1834,and the remnantוּשְׁאָ֣רu.she.'ArH7605of Syriaאֲרָ֑ם'a.RamH758:they shall be as the gloryכִּכְב֤וֹדkikh.VodH3519of the childrenבְּנֵֽי־be.nei-H1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵל֙Yis.ra.'ElH3478,saithנְאֻ֖םne.'UmH5002the Lordיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068of hostsצְבָאֽוֹת׃ סtze.va.'otH6635.

4And in that dayבַּיּ֣וֹםbai.YomH3117it shall come to pass, thatthe gloryכְּב֣וֹדke.VodH3519of Jacobיַעֲקֹ֑בya.'a.KoH3290shall be made thinיִדַּ֖לyi.DalH1809,and the fatnessוּמִשְׁמַ֥ןu.mish.ManH4924of his fleshבְּשָׂר֖וֹbe.sa.RoH1320shall wax leanיֵרָזֶֽה׃ye.ra.ZehH7329.

5And it shall be as when the harvestmanקָצִ֣ירka.TzirH7105gatherethכֶּֽאֱסֹף֙ke.'e.SofH622the cornקָמָ֔הka.MahH7054,and reapethיִקְצ֑וֹרyik.TzorH7114the earsשִׁבֳּלִ֣יםshi.bo.LimH7641with his armוּזְרֹע֖וֹu.ze.ro.'OH2220;and it shall be as he that gatherethכִּמְלַקֵּ֥טkim.la.KetH3950earsשִׁבֳּלִ֖יםshi.bo.LimH7641in the valleyבְּעֵ֥מֶקbe.'E.mekH6010of Rephaimרְפָאִֽים׃re.fa.'ImH7497.
