13Now therefore, our Godאֱלֹהֵ֔ינוּ'e.lo.Hei.nuH430,we thankמוֹדִ֥יםmo.DimH3034thee, and praiseוּֽמְהַֽלְלִ֖יםu.me.ha.LimH1984thy gloriousתִּפְאַרְתֶּֽךָ׃tif.'ar.Te.khaH8597nameלְשֵׁ֥םle.ShemH8034.

14But who am I, and what ismy peopleעַמִּ֔י'a.MiH5971,that we should beנַעְצֹ֣רna'.TzorH6113ableכֹּ֔חַKo.achH3581to offer so willinglyלְהִתְנַדֵּ֖בle.hit.na.DevH5068after this sort? for all things comeof thee, and of thine ownוּמִיָּדְךָ֖u.mi.ya.de.KhaH3027have we givenנָתַ֥נּוּna.Ta.nuH5414thee.

15For we arestrangersגֵרִ֨יםge.RimH1616beforeלְפָנֶ֛יךָle.fa.Nei.khaH6440thee, and sojournersוְתוֹשָׁבִ֖יםve.to.sha.VimH8453, as wereall our fathersאֲבֹתֵ֑ינוּ'a.vo.Tei.nuH1:our daysיָמֵ֛ינוּya.Mei.nuH3117on the earthהָאָ֖רֶץha.'A.retzH776areas a shadowכַּצֵּ֧ל׀ka.TzelH6738, and there isnone abidingמִקְוֶֽה׃mik.VehH4723.

16O Lordיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068our Godאֱלֹהֵ֔ינוּ'e.lo.Hei.nuH430,all this storeהֶהָמ֤וֹןhe.ha.MonH1995that we have preparedהֲכִינֹ֔נוּha.khi.No.nuH3559to buildלִבְנֽוֹת־Liv.not-H1129thee an houseבַ֖יִתVa.yitH1004for thine holyקָדְשֶׁ֑ךָkod.She.chaH6944nameלְשֵׁ֣םle.ShemH8034comethof thine handמִיָּדְךָ֥mi.ya.de.KhaH3027, and is all thine own.

17I knowוְיָדַ֣עְתִּיve.ya.Da'.tiH3045also, my Godאֱלֹהַ֔י'e.lo.HaiH430,that thou triestבֹּחֵ֣ןbo.ChenH974the heartלֵבָ֔בle.VavH3824,and hast pleasureתִּרְצֶ֑הtir.TzehH7521in uprightnessבְּיֹ֤שֶׁרbe.Yo.sherH3476.As for me, in the uprightnessוּמֵישָׁרִ֖יםu.mei.sha.RimH4339of mine heartלְבָבִי֙le.va.ViH3824I have willingly offeredהִתְנַדַּ֣בְתִּיhit.na.Dav.tiH5068all these things: and now have I seenרָאִ֥יתִיra.'I.tiH7200with joyבְשִׂמְחָ֖הve.sim.ChahH8057thy peopleעַמְּךָ֙'a.me.KhaH5971,which are presentהַנִּמְצְאוּ־ha.nim.tze.'u-H4672here, to offer willinglyלְהִֽתְנַדֶּב־le.hit.na.dev-H5068unto thee.

18O Lordיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068Godאֱ֠לֹהֵי'E.lo.heiH430of Abrahamאַבְרָהָ֞ם'av.ra.HamH85,Isaacיִצְחָ֤קyitz.ChakH3327,and of Israelוְיִשְׂרָאֵל֙ve.Yis.ra.'ElH3478,our fathersאֲבֹתֵ֔ינוּ'a.vo.Tei.nuH1,keepשֳׁמְרָה־shom.rah-H8104this for everלְעוֹלָ֔םle.'o.LamH5769in the imaginationלְיֵ֥צֶרle.Ye.tzerH3336of the thoughtsמַחְשְׁב֖וֹתmach.she.VotH4284of the heartלְבַ֣בle.VavH3824of thy peopleעַמֶּ֑ךָ'a.Me.khaH5971,and prepareוְהָכֵ֥ןve.ha.KhenH3559their heartלְבָבָ֖םle.va.VamH3824unto thee:

19And giveתֵּ֚ןtenH5414unto Solomonוְלִשְׁלֹמֹ֣הve.lish.lo.MohH8010my sonבְנִ֗יve.NiH1121a perfectשָׁלֵ֔םsha.LemH8003heartלֵבָ֣בle.VavH3824,to keepלִשְׁמוֹר֙lish.mOrH8104thy commandmentsמִצְוֹתֶ֔יךָmitz.vo.Tei.khaH4687,thy testimoniesעֵדְוֹתֶ֖יךָ'e.de.vo.Tei.khaH5715,and thy statutesוְחֻקֶּ֑יךָve.chu.Kei.chaH2706,and to doוְלַעֲשׂ֣וֹתve.la.'a.SotH6213all these things,and to buildוְלִבְנ֖וֹתve.liv.NotH1129the palaceהַבִּירָ֥הha.bi.RahH1002, forthe which I have made provisionהֲכִינֽוֹתִי׃ פha.khi.No.tiH3559.

21And they sacrificedוַיִּזְבְּח֣וּvai.yiz.be.ChuH2076sacrificesזְ֠בָחִיםZe.va.chimH2077unto the Lordלַיהוָ֣ה׀la.Yah.wehH3068,and offeredוַיַּעֲל֨וּvai.ya.'a.LuH5927burnt offeringsעֹל֜וֹתo.LotH5930unto the Lordלַיהוָ֗הla.Yah.wehH3068,on the morrowלְֽמָחֳרַת֮le.mo.cho.RatH4283after that dayהַיּ֣וֹםhai.YomH3117, evena thousandאֶ֜לֶף'E.lefH505bullocksפָּרִ֨יםpa.RimH6499,a thousandאֶ֛לֶף'E.lefH505ramsאֵילִ֥ים'ei.LimH352, anda thousandאֶ֖לֶף'E.lefH505lambsכְּבָשִׂ֥יםke.va.SimH3532,with their drink offeringsוְנִסְכֵּיהֶ֑םve.nis.kei.HemH5262,and sacrificesוּזְבָחִ֥יםu.ze.va.ChimH2077in abundanceלָרֹ֖בla.RoH7230for all Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478:

22And did eatוַיֹּאכְל֨וּvai.yo.khe.LuH398and drinkוַיִּשְׁתּ֜וּvai.yish.TuH8354beforeלִפְנֵ֧יlif.NeiH6440the Lordיְהוָ֛הYah.wehH3068on that dayבַּיּ֥וֹםbai.YomH3117with greatגְדוֹלָ֑הge.do.LahH1419gladnessבְּשִׂמְחָ֣הbe.sim.ChahH8057.And they made Solomonלִשְׁלֹמֹ֣הlish.lo.MohH8010the sonבֶן־ven-H1121of Davidדָּוִ֔ידda.VidH1732kingוַיַּמְלִ֤יכוּvai.yam.Li.khuH4427the second timeשֵׁנִית֙she.NitH8145,and anointedוַיִּמְשְׁח֧וּvai.yim.she.ChuH4886himunto the Lordלַיהוָ֛הla.Yah.wehH3068to bethe chief governorלְנָגִ֥ידle.na.GidH5057,and Zadokוּלְצָד֖וֹקu.le.tza.DokH6659to bepriestלְכֹהֵֽן׃le.kho.HenH3548.

23Then Solomonשְׁ֠לֹמֹהShe.lo.mohH8010sat onוַיֵּ֣שֶׁבvai.Ye.shevH3427the throneכִּסֵּ֨אki.Se'H3678of the Lordיְהוָ֧ה׀Yah.wehH3068as kingלְמֶ֛לֶךְle.Me.lekhH4428instead of Davidדָּוִ֥ידda.VidH1732his fatherאָבִ֖יו'a.VivH1,and prosperedוַיַּצְלַ֑חvai.yatz.LachH6743;and all Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478obeyedוַיִּשְׁמְע֥וּvai.yish.me.'UH8085him.

24And all the princesהַשָּׂרִים֙ha.sa.RimH8269,and the mighty menוְהַגִּבֹּרִ֔יםve.hag.gi.bo.RimH1368,and all the sonsבְּנֵ֖יbe.NeiH1121likewise of kingהַמֶּ֣לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428Davidדָּוִ֑ידda.VidH1732,submitted themselvesנָ֣תְנוּ יָ֔ד תַּ֖חַתNa.te.nu Yad Ta.chatH8478 H3027 H5414unto Solomonשְׁלֹמֹ֥הshe.lo.MohH8010the kingהַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ha.Me.lekhH4428.

25And the Lordיְהוָ֤הYah.wehH3068magnifiedוַיְגַדֵּ֨לvay.ga.DelH1431Solomonשְׁלֹמֹה֙she.lo.MohH8010exceedinglyלְמַ֔עְלָהle.Ma'.lahH4605in the sightלְעֵינֵ֖יle.'ei.NeiH5869of all Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478,and bestowedוַיִּתֵּ֤ןvai.yi.TenH5414upon him suchroyalמַלְכ֔וּתmal.KhutH4438majestyה֣וֹדHodH1935as had not been on any kingמֶ֛לֶךְMe.lekhH4428beforeלְפָנָ֖יוle.fa.NavH6440him in Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ פYis.ra.'ElH3478.
