Context of John 6:64
62What if you see the Son of Man go where he was before? 63Life is spiritual. Your physical existence doesn’t contribute to that life. The words that I have spoken to you are spiritual. They are life. But some of you don’t believe.” Jesus knew from the beginning those who wouldn’t believe and the one who would betray him. 65So he added, “That is why I told you that people cannot come to me unless the Father provides the way.” 66Jesus’ speech made many of his disciples go back to the lives they had led before they followed Jesus.

- Adam Clarke Bible Commentary · v. 64But there are some of you that believe not - This is addressed to Judas, and to those disciples who left him: John 6:66. And who should betray him - Or, who would deliver him up. Because he knew all things; he knew from the first, from Judas's call to the apostleship, and from eternity, (if the reader pleases), who it was who would (not should) deliver him up into the hands of the Jews. Should, in the apprehension of most, implies necessity and…Read the comment
