9ProclaimH8085 toH5921 the citadelsH759 of AshdodH795 and toH5921 the citadelsH759 of EgyptH4714 H559: “AssembleH622 onH5921 the mountainsH2022 of SamariaH8111; seeH7200 the greatH7227 unrestH4103 in the cityH8432 and the acts of oppressionH6217 in her midstH7130.”

10“For they knowH3045 notH3808 how to doH6213 rightH5229,”declaresH5002 the LORDH3068.“They store upH686 violenceH2555 and destructionH7701in their citadelsH759.”

11ThereforeH3651 this is whatH3541 the LordH136 GODH3069 saysH559:

“An enemyH6862 1 will surroundH5439 the landH776;he will pull downH3381 H4480 your strongholdsH5797and plunderH962 your citadelsH759.”

12This is whatH3541 the LORDH3068 saysH559:

“AsH834 the shepherdH7462 snatchesH5337 from the mouthH6310 of the lionH738twoH8147 legsH3767 orH176 a pieceH915 of an earH241,soH3651 the IsraelitesH1121 H3478 dwellingH3427 in SamariaH8111 will be rescuedH5337having just the cornerH6285 of a bedH4296or the cushionH1833 of a couchH6210.2

13HearH8085 and testifyH5749 against the houseH1004 of JacobH3290,declaresH5002 the LordH136 GODH3069, the GodH430 of HostsH6635.14 On the dayH3117 I punishH6485 IsraelH3478 for their transgressionsH6588 ,I will visitH6485 destruction onH5921 the altarsH4196 ofH1008 BethelH1008;the hornsH7161 of the altarH4196 will be cut offH1438,and they will fallH5307 to the groundH776.15I will tear downH5221 the winterH2779 houseH1004along withH5921 the summerH7019 houseH1004;the housesH1004 of ivoryH8127 will also perishH6,and the greatH7227 housesH1004 will come to an endH5595,”declaresH5002 the LORDH3068.
