1Hethatdashethinpiecesiscomeupagainstthee:keepthefortress,watchtheway,makeH3772thy loins strong, fortify thy power mightily.

2ForJehovah restoreththeexcellencyofJacob,astheexcellencyofIsrael;fortheemptiershaveemptiedthemout,anddestroyedtheirvine-branches.

3Theshieldofhismightymenismadered,thevaliantmenareinscarlet:thechariots flashwithsteelinthedayofhispreparation,andthecypress spearsarebrandished.

4ThechariotsH7393rageinthestreets;theyrushtoandfrointhebroad ways:theappearanceofthemisliketorches;theyrunlikethelightnings.

5Herememberethhisnobles:theystumbleintheir march;theymake hastetothewall thereof,andthemanteletisprepared.

6Thegatesoftheriversareopened,andthepalace is dissolved.

7Anditisdecreed: sheisuncovered, sheiscarriedawayנָמֽוֹג׃na.MogH4127;andherhandmaids moanaswiththevoiceofdoves, beating upon their breasts.

8ButNinevehhathbeenfromofoldlikeapoolofwater:yettheyfleeaway.StandH5324,standH5324,theycry;butnone lookethback.

9Takeyethespoilofsilver,takethespoilofgold;forthereisnoendofthestore,thegloryofallgoodly furniture.

10Sheisempty,andvoid,andwaste;andtheheart melteth,andtheknees smite together,andanguishisinallloins,andthefacesofthemallarewaxed pale.

11Whereisthedenofthelions,andthefeeding-placeoftheyoung lions, wherethelionandthelioness walked,thelion’s whelp,andnonemadethemafraid?

12ThelionH738didtearinpieces enoughforhiswhelps,andstrangledforhislionesses,andfilledhiscaveswithprey,andhisdenswithravin.

13Behold,Iam against thee, saith Jehovahofhosts,andIwill burnherchariotsinthesmoke,andthesword shall devour thy younglionsאַרְיֵ֤ה'ar.YehH738;andIwill cut off thypreyH2964fromtheearth,andthevoiceofthymessengersshall no more be heard.
