Revised Version 1895
Leviticus 17:11-14
11For the lifeH5315 of the fleshH1320 is in the bloodH1818: and I have givenH5414 it to youH3588 uponH5921 the altarH4196 to makeH5414 atonementH3722 for your soulsH5315: for it is the bloodH1818 that maketh atonementH3722 by reasonH5921 of the lifeH5315.
12Therefore I saidH559 unto the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478, NoH3808 soulH5315 of youH3605 shall eatH398 bloodH1818, neitherH3808 shall anyH3605 strangerH1616 that sojourneth among youH3605 eatH398 bloodH1818.
13And whatsoever manH376 there be of the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478, or of the strangersH1616 that sojourn among them, whichH834 taketh in hunting anyH4480 beastH2416 or fowlH5775 that may be eatenH398; he shall pourH8210 outH4480 the bloodH1818 thereof, and coverH3680 it with dustH6083.
14For as to the lifeH5315 of allH3605 fleshH1320, the bloodH1818 thereof is allH3605 one with the lifeH5315 thereof: therefore I saidH559 unto the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478, Ye shall eatH398 the bloodH1818 of noH3808 manner of fleshH1320: for the lifeH5315 of allH3605 fleshH1320 is the bloodH1818 thereof: whosoever eateth it shall be cutH3772 offH3772.
