Revised Version 1895
Isaiah 7:7-13
7thusH3541 saith the LordH136 GODH136, It shall notH3808 standH6965, neitherH3808 shall it comeH1961 to passH1961.
8For the headH7218 of SyriaH758 is DamascusH1834, and the headH7218 of DamascusH1834 is RezinH7526: and within threescore and fiveH2568 yearsH8141 shall EphraimH669 be broken in pieces, that it be notH3588 a peopleH5971:
9and the headH7218 of EphraimH669 is SamariaH8111, and the headH7218 of SamariaH8111 is Remaliah’s sonH1121. IfH518 ye will notH3808 believeH539, surelyH3588 ye shall notH3808 be establishedH539.
10And the LORDH3068 spake againH3254 unto AhazH271, sayingH559,
11AskH7592 thee a signH226 of the LORDH3068 thy GodH430; askH7592 it eitherH176 in the depth, or in the height aboveH4605.
12But AhazH271 saidH559, I will notH3808 askH7592, neitherH3808 will I tempt the LORDH3068.
13And he saidH559, HearH8085 ye nowH4994, O houseH1004 of DavidH1732; is it a smallH4592 thingH4592 for youH3588 to wearyH3811 menH376, that ye will wearyH3811 my GodH430 also?
