Revised Version 1895
Isaiah 66:1-4
1ThusH3541 saith the LORDH3068; The heavenH8064 is my throneH3678, and the earthH776 is my footstool: whatH834 manner of houseH1004 will ye buildH1129 unto meH1004? and whatH834 placeH4725 shall be my restH4496?
2For allH3605 theseH428 things hath mine handH3027 madeH6213, and soH6213 allH3605 theseH428 things cameH1961 to be, saith the LORDH3068: but to this manH3605 will I lookH5027, evenH853 to him that is poorH6041 and of a contriteH5223 spiritH7307, and that trembleth at my wordH1697.
3He that killeth an oxH7794 is as he that slayeth a manH376; he that sacrificeth a lambH7716, as he that breaketh a dog’sH3611 neckH6202; he that offereth an oblation, as he that offereth swine’sH2386 bloodH1818; he that burneth frankincenseH3828, as he that blesseth an idolH8251: yea, they have chosenH977 their ownH376 waysH1870, and their soulH5315 delighteth in their abominationsH8251;
4I also will chooseH977 their delusions, and will bringH935 their fears uponH935 them; becauseH3282 when I calledH7121, noneH369 didH6213 answerH6030; when I spake, they didH6213 notH3808 hearH8085: but they didH6213 that whichH834 was evilH7451 in mine eyesH5869, and choseH977 that whereinH834 I delighted notH3808.
