Revised Version 1895
Isaiah 44:16-19
16He burneth partH5921 thereof in the fireH784; with partH5921 thereof he eateth fleshH1320; he roasteth roastH6748, and is satisfiedH7646: yea, he warmeth himself, and saith, AhaH1889, I am warmH2552, I have seenH7200 the fireH784:
17And the residue thereof he maketh a godH410, evenH3588 his gravenH6459 imageH6459: he falleth downH7812 unto it and worshippeth, and prayeth unto it, and saith, DeliverH5337 meH413; for thou art my godH410.
18They knowH3045 notH3808, neitherH3808 do they considerH7200: for he hath shut their eyesH5869, that they cannotH3808 seeH7200; and their heartsH3820, that they cannotH3808 understandH995.
19And noneH3808 calleth to mindH3820, neitherH3808 is there knowledgeH1847 norH3808 understandingH8394 to sayH559, I have burnedH8313 partH5921 of it in the fireH784; yea, also I have bakedH644 breadH3899 uponH5921 the coalsH1513 thereof; I have roasted fleshH1320 and eatenH398 it: and shall I makeH6213 the residue thereof an abominationH8441? shall I fallH5456 downH5456 to the stock of a treeH6086?
