Revised Version 1895
Isaiah 44:14-17
14He heweth him downH3772 cedarsH730, and taketh the holm treeH6086 and the oakH437, and strengtheneth for himselfH1431 one among the treesH6086 of the forestH3293: he planteth a fir treeH6086, and the rainH1653 doth nourish it.
15Then shall it be for a manH120 to burnH1197; and he taketh thereof, and warmeth himselfH7812; yea, he kindleth it, and baketh breadH3899: yea, he maketh a godH410, and worshippeth it; he maketh it a gravenH6459 imageH6459, and falleth downH7812 thereto.
16He burneth partH5921 thereof in the fireH784; with partH5921 thereof he eateth fleshH1320; he roasteth roastH6748, and is satisfiedH7646: yea, he warmeth himself, and saith, AhaH1889, I am warmH2552, I have seenH7200 the fireH784:
17And the residue thereof he maketh a godH410, evenH3588 his gravenH6459 imageH6459: he falleth downH7812 unto it and worshippeth, and prayeth unto it, and saith, DeliverH5337 meH413; for thou art my godH410.
