Revised Version 1895
Isaiah 37:14-20
14And HezekiahH2396 receivedH3947 the letterH5612 from the handH3027 of the messengersH4397, and readH7121 it: and HezekiahH2396 wentH5927 upH5927 unto the houseH1004 of the LORDH3068, and spreadH6566 it beforeH6440 the LORDH3068.
15And HezekiahH2396 prayedH6419 unto the LORDH3068, sayingH559,
16O LORDH3068 of hostsH6635, the GodH430 of IsraelH3478, that sittest uponH3427 the cherubimH3742, thou art the GodH430, evenH853 thou aloneH905, of allH3605 the kingdomsH4467 of the earthH776; thou hast madeH6213 heavenH8064 and earthH776.
17InclineH5186 thine earH241, O LORDH3068, and hearH8085; openH6491 thine eyesH5869, O LORDH3068, and seeH7200: and hearH8085 allH3605 the wordsH1697 of SennacheribH5576, whichH834 hath sentH7971 to reproachH2778 the livingH2416 GodH430.
18Of a truthH551, LORDH3068, the kingsH4428 of AssyriaH804 have laid waste allH3605 the countriesH776, and their landH776,
19and have castH5414 their godsH430 intoH3027 the fireH784: for they were noH3808 godsH430, but the workH4639 of men’sH120 handsH3027, woodH6086 and stoneH68; therefore they have destroyedH6 them.
20NowH6258 therefore, O LORDH3068 our GodH430, saveH3467 usH3045 from his handH3027, that allH3605 the kingdomsH4467 of the earthH776 may knowH3045 that thou art the LORDH3068, evenH3588 thou onlyH905.
