Revised Version 1895
Isaiah 34:5-10
5For my swordH2719 hath drunkH7301 itsH5921 fillH7301 in heavenH8064: beholdH2009, it shall comeH3381 downH3381 uponH5921 EdomH123, and uponH5921 the peopleH5971 of my curse, to judgmentH4941.
6The swordH2719 of the LORDH3068 is filledH4390 with bloodH1818, it is madeH1878 fatH2459 with fatnessH2459, with the bloodH1818 of lambsH3733 and goatsH6260, with the fatH2459 of the kidneysH3629 of ramsH352: for the LORDH3068 hath a sacrificeH2077 in BozrahH1224, and a greatH1419 slaughterH2874 in the landH776 of EdomH123.
7And the wild-oxen shall comeH3381 downH3381 with them, and the bullocks with the bullsH6499; and their landH776 shall be drunken with bloodH1818, and their dustH6083 madeH1878 fatH2459 with fatnessH2459.
8For it is the dayH3117 of the LORD’SH3068 vengeanceH5359, the yearH8141 of recompence in the controversyH7379 of ZionH6726.
9And the streamsH5158 thereof shall be turnedH2015 intoH2015 pitchH2203, and the dustH6083 thereof intoH2015 brimstoneH1614, and the landH776 thereof shall becomeH1961 burningH1197 pitchH2203.
10It shall notH3808 be quenchedH3518 nightH3915 norH3808 dayH3119; the smokeH6227 thereof shall goH5927 upH5927 for everH5769: from generationH1755 to generationH1755 it shall lieH5927 waste; noneH369 shall passH5674 throughH5674 it for everH5769 and everH5769.
