Revised Version 1895
Isaiah 10:13-16
13For he hath saidH559, By the strengthH3581 of my handH3027 I have doneH6213 it, and by my wisdomH2451; for I am prudentH995: and I have removedH5493 the bounds of the peoplesH5971, and have robbed their treasuresH6264, and I have broughtH3381 downH3381 as a valiantH47 manH47 them that sitH3427 on thronesH3427:
14and my handH3027 hath foundH4672 as a nestH7064 the richesH2428 of the peoplesH5971; and as one gathereth eggsH1000 that are forsaken, have I gatheredH622 allH3605 the earthH776: and there was noneH3808 that moved the wingH3671, or that openedH6475 the mouthH6310, or chirpedH6850.
15Shall the axeH1631 boastH6286 itselfH6286 againstH5921 him that heweth therewith? shall the sawH4883 magnifyH1431 itselfH6286 againstH5921 him that shaketh it? as ifH518 a rodH7626 should shakeH5130 them that liftH7311 it upH7311, or as ifH518 a staffH4294 should liftH7311 upH7311 him that is notH3808 woodH6086.
16Therefore shall the LordH3068, the LordH3068 of hostsH6635, sendH7971 among his fat ones leanness; and underH8478 his gloryH3519 there shall be kindledH3344 a burningH3344 like the burningH3344 of fireH784.
