And he gaveH5414 him his handH3027; and he tookH853 him upH5927 to him intoH413 the chariotH4818. 16And he saidH559, ComeH7068 with meH7200, and seeH7200 my zealH7068 for the LORDH3068. SoH7200 they made him rideH7392 in his chariotH7393. 17And when he cameH935 to SamariaH8111, he smoteH5221 allH3605 that remainedH7604 unto AhabH256 in SamariaH8111, tillH5704 he had destroyedH8045 him, accordingH413 to the wordH1697 of the LORDH3068, whichH834 he spake to ElijahH452. 18And JehuH3058 gatheredH6908 allH3605 the peopleH5971 togetherH6908, and saidH559 unto them, AhabH256 servedH5647 BaalH1168 a littleH4592; but JehuH3058 shall serveH5647 him muchH7235. 19NowH6258 therefore callH7121 unto meH413 allH3605 the prophetsH5030 of BaalH1168, allH3605 his worshippers, and allH3605 his priestsH3548; letH408 noneH3808 be wanting: for I have a greatH1419 sacrificeH2077 to doH6213 to BaalH1168; whosoever shall be wanting, he shall notH3808 liveH2421. But JehuH3058 didH6213 it in subtilty, to the intent that he might destroyH6 the worshippers of BaalH1168. 20And JehuH3058 saidH559, SanctifyH6942 a solemnH6116 assemblyH6116 for BaalH1168. And they proclaimedH7121 it. 21And JehuH3058 sentH7971 throughH935 allH3605 IsraelH3478: and allH3605 the worshippers of BaalH1168 cameH935, soH7971 that there was notH3808 a manH376 leftH7604 that cameH935 notH3808. And they cameH935 intoH935 the houseH1004 of BaalH1168; and the houseH1004 of BaalH1168 was filledH4390 from one endH6310 to anotherH376. 22And he saidH559 unto him that was over the vestry, BringH3318 forthH3318 vestments for allH3605 the worshippers of BaalH1168. And he broughtH3318 them forthH3318 vestments. 23And JehuH3058 wentH935, and JehonadabH3082 the sonH1121 of RechabH7394, intoH935 the houseH1004 of BaalH1168; and he saidH559 unto the worshippers of BaalH1168, SearchH2664, and lookH7200 that there be hereH6311 with youH3588 noneH6435 of the servantsH5650 of the LORDH3068, but the worshippers of BaalH1168 onlyH905. 24And they wentH935 in to offerH2077 sacrificesH2077 and burntH5930 offeringsH4480. NowH935 JehuH3058 had appointedH7760 him fourscore menH376 withoutH4480, and saidH559, IfH834 anyH4480 of the menH376 whomH834 I bringH935 intoH935 your handsH3027 escapeH4422, he that letteth him goH935, his lifeH5315 shall be for the lifeH5315 of him. 25And it cameH935 to passH935, as soon as he had madeH6213 as endH3615 of offering the burntH5930 offering, that JehuH3058 saidH559 to the guardH7323 and to the captains, GoH3318 in, and slayH5221 them; letH408 noneH408 comeH935 forthH3318. And they smoteH5221 them with the edgeH6310 of the swordH2719; and the guardH7323 and the captains castH7993 them outH3318, and wentH3318 to the cityH5892 of the houseH1004 of BaalH1168. 26And they broughtH3318 forthH3318 the pillarsH4676 that were in the houseH1004 of BaalH1168, and burnedH8313 them. 27And they brake downH5422 the pillarH4676 of BaalH1168, and brake downH5422 the houseH1004 of BaalH1168, and madeH7760 it a draught houseH1004, unto this dayH3117. 28Thus JehuH3058 destroyedH8045 BaalH1168 outH853 of IsraelH3478. 29Howbeit from the sinsH2398 of JeroboamH3379 the sonH1121 of NebatH5028, wherewith he madeH834 IsraelH3478 to sinH2398, JehuH3058 departedH5493 notH3808 from afterH310 them, to wit, the goldenH2091 calvesH5695 that were in Beth-el, and that were in DanH1835. 30And the LORDH3068 saidH559 unto JehuH3058, BecauseH5921 thou hast doneH6213 wellH2895 in executing that whichH834 is rightH3477 in mine eyesH5869, and hast doneH6213 unto the houseH1004 of AhabH256 accordingH5921 to allH3605 that was in mine heartH3824, thy sonsH1121 of the fourthH7243 generation shall sitH3427 on the throneH3678 of IsraelH3478. 31But JehuH3058 tookH5493 noH3808 heedH8104 to walk in the lawH8451 of the LORDH3068, the GodH430 of IsraelH3478, with allH3605 his heartH3824: he departedH5493 notH3808 from the sinsH2398 of JeroboamH3379, wherewith he madeH3605 IsraelH3478 to sinH2398. 32In thoseH3605 daysH3117 the LORDH3068 beganH2490 to cutH7096 IsraelH3478 short: and HazaelH2371 smoteH5221 them in allH3605 the coasts of IsraelH3478; 33from JordanH3383 eastwardH4217, allH3605 the landH776 of GileadH1568, the GaditesH1425, and the ReubenitesH7206, and the ManassitesH4520, from AroerH6177, whichH834 is by the valleyH5158 of ArnonH769, evenH853 GileadH1568 and BashanH1316. 34NowH3117 the restH3499 of the actsH1697 of JehuH3058, and allH3605 that he didH6213, and allH3605 his might, are they notH3808 writtenH3789 in the bookH5612 of the chroniclesH1697 of the kingsH4428 of IsraelH3478? 35And JehuH3058 sleptH7901 with his fathersH1: and they buriedH6912 him in SamariaH8111. And JehoahazH3059 his sonH1121 reignedH4427 in his steadH8478. 36And the time that JehuH3058 reignedH4427 over IsraelH3478 in SamariaH8111 was twentyH6242 and eightH8083 yearsH8141.
