Kings 1:2-12

And AhaziahH274 fellH5307 downH5307 throughH1157 the latticeH7639 in his upperH5944 chamberH5944 that was in SamariaH8111, and was sickH2470: and he sentH7971 messengersH4397, and saidH559 unto them, GoH7971, inquireH1875 of Baal-zebubH1176 the godH430 of EkronH6138 whetherH518 I shall recoverH2421 of this sicknessH2483.

But the angelH4397 of the LORDH3068 saidH1696 to ElijahH452 the Tishbite, AriseH6965, goH1980 upH5927 to meetH7125 the messengersH4397 of the kingH4428 of SamariaH8111, and sayH1696 unto them, Is it becauseH413 there is noH369 GodH430 in IsraelH3478, that ye goH1980 to inquireH1875 of Baal-zebubH1176 the godH430 of EkronH6138?

NowH3588 therefore thusH3541 saith the LORDH3068, Thou shalt notH3808 comeH5927 downH3381 from the bedH4296 whither thou art goneH5927 upH5927, but shalt surelyH3588 dieH4191. And ElijahH452 departedH3381.

And the messengersH4397 returnedH7725 unto him, and he saidH559 unto them, WhyH4100 is it that ye are returnedH7725?

And they saidH559 unto him, There cameH5927 upH5927 a manH376 to meetH7125 usH413, and saidH559 unto usH413, GoH5927, turnH7725 againH7725 unto the kingH4428 that sentH7971 youH859, and sayH559 unto him, ThusH3541 saith the LORDH3068, Is it becauseH3588 there is noH3808 GodH430 in IsraelH3478, that thou sendest to inquireH1875 of Baal-zebubH1176 the godH430 of EkronH6138? therefore thou shalt notH3808 comeH5927 downH3381 from the bedH4296 whither thou art goneH5927 upH5927, but shalt surelyH3588 dieH4191.

And he saidH1696 unto them, WhatH4100 mannerH1697 of manH376 was he whichH834 cameH5927 upH5927 to meetH7125 youH834, and toldH1696 youH834 theseH428 wordsH1697?

And they answeredH559 him, He was an hairyH8181 manH376, and girt with a girdleH232 of leatherH5785 aboutH413 his loinsH4975. And he saidH559, It is ElijahH452 the Tishbite.

Then the kingH4428 sentH7971 unto him a captainH8269 of fiftyH2572 with his fiftyH2572. And he wentH5927 upH5927 to him: and, beholdH2009, he satH3427 on the topH7218 of the hillH2022. And he spake unto him, O manH376 of GodH430, the kingH4428 hath saidH1696, ComeH5927 downH3381.

And ElijahH452 answeredH6030 and saidH1696 to the captainH8269 of fiftyH2572, IfH518 I be a manH376 of GodH430, letH3381 fireH784 comeH3381 downH3381 from heavenH8064, and consumeH398 thee and thy fiftyH2572. And there cameH3381 downH3381 fireH784 from heavenH8064, and consumedH398 him and his fiftyH2572.

And againH7725 he sentH7971 unto him anotherH312 captainH8269 of fiftyH2572 with his fiftyH2572. And he answeredH559 and saidH559 unto him, O manH376 of GodH430, thusH3541 hath the kingH4428 saidH559, ComeH3381 downH3381 quicklyH4120.

And ElijahH452 answeredH6030 and saidH1696 unto them, IfH518 I be a manH376 of GodH430, letH3381 fireH784 comeH3381 downH3381 from heavenH8064, and consumeH398 thee and thy fiftyH2572. And the fireH784 of GodH430 cameH3381 downH3381 from heavenH8064, and consumedH398 him and his fiftyH2572.
