40And Jacobיַעֲקֹב֒ya.'a.KoH3290did separateהִפְרִ֣ידhif.RidH6504the lambsוְהַכְּשָׂבִים֮ve.ha.ke.sa.VimH3775,and setוַ֠יִּתֵּןVai.yi.tenH5414the facesפְּנֵ֨יpe.NeiH6440of the flocksהַצֹּ֧אןha.TzonH6629towardאֶל־'el-H413the ringstrakedעָקֹ֛ד'a.KodH6124,and all the brownח֖וּםchumH2345in the flockבְּצֹ֣אןbe.TzonH6629of Labanלָבָ֑ןla.VanH3837;and he putוַיָּֽשֶׁת־vai.ya.shet-H7896his own flocksעֲדָרִים֙'a.da.RimH5739by themselves, and putשָׁתָ֖םsha.TamH7896them not unto Laban’sלָבָֽן׃la.VanH3837cattleצֹ֥אןtzonH6629.

42But when the cattleהַצֹּ֖אןha.TzonH6629were feebleוּבְהַעֲטִ֥יףu.ve.ha.'a.TifH5848, he put themnot inיָשִׂ֑יםya.SimH7760:so the feeblerהָעֲטֻפִים֙ha.'a.tu.FimH5848were Laban’sלְלָבָ֔ןle.la.VanH3837,and the strongerוְהַקְּשֻׁרִ֖יםve.ha.ke.shu.RimH7194Jacob’sלְיַעֲקֹֽב׃le.ya.'a.KoH3290.

43And the manהָאִ֖ישׁha.'IshH376increasedוַיִּפְרֹ֥ץvai.yif.RotzH6555exceedinglyH3966,and had muchרַבּ֔וֹתra.BotH7227cattleצֹ֣אןtzonH6629,and maidservantsוּשְׁפָחוֹת֙u.she.fa.choTH8198,and menservantsוַעֲבָדִ֔יםva.'a.va.DimH5650,and camelsוּגְמַלִּ֖יםu.ge.ma.LimH1581,and donkeysוַחֲמֹרִֽים׃va.cha.mo.RimH2543.
