6Whereas I have not dweltיָשַׁ֙בְתִּי֙ya.Shav.tiH3427in anyhouseבְּבַ֔יִתbe.Va.yitH1004since the timeלְ֠מִיּוֹםLe.mi.yomH3117that I brought upהַעֲלֹתִ֞יha.'a.lo.TiH5927the childrenבְּנֵ֤יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵל֙Yis.ra.'ElH3478out of Egyptמִמִּצְרַ֔יִםmi.mitz.Ra.yimH4714,even to this dayהַיּ֣וֹםhai.YomH3117,but have walkedמִתְהַלֵּ֔ךְmit.ha.LekhH1980in a tentבְּאֹ֖הֶלbe.'O.helH168and in a tabernacleוּבְמִשְׁכָּֽן׃u.ve.mish.KanH4908.

7In all the placeswherein I have walkedהִתְהַלַּכְתִּי֮hit.ha.lakh.TiH1980with all the childrenבְּנֵ֣יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵל֒Yis.ra.'ElH3478spakeדִּבַּ֗רְתִּיdi.Bar.tiH1696I a wordהֲדָבָ֣רha.da.VarH1697with anyאַחַד֙'a.ChadH259of the tribesשִׁבְטֵ֣יshiv.TeiH7626of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478,whom I commandedצִוִּ֗יתִיtzi.Vi.tiH6680to feedלִרְע֛וֹתlir.'otH7462my peopleעַמִּ֥י'a.MiH5971Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478,sayingלֵאמֹ֑רle.MorH559,Why buildבְנִיתֶ֥םve.ni.TemH1129ye not me an houseבֵּ֥יתbeitH1004of cedarאֲרָזִֽים׃'a.ra.ZimH730?

8Now therefore so shalt thou sayתֹאמַ֞רto.MarH559unto my servantלְעַבְדִּ֣יle.'av.DiH5650Davidלְדָוִ֗דle.da.VidH1732,Thus saithאָמַר֙'a.MarH559Yhwhיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068of Armiesצְבָא֔וֹתtze.va.'otH6635,I tookלְקַחְתִּ֙יךָ֙le.kach.Ti.khaH3947thee from the sheepcoteהַנָּוֶ֔הha.na.VehH5116,from followingמֵאַחַ֖רme.'a.CharH310the sheepהַצֹּ֑אןha.TzonH6629,to be rulerנָגִ֔ידna.GidH5057over my peopleעַמִּ֖י'a.MiH5971,over Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478:

9And I was with thee whithersoever thou wentestהָלַ֔כְתָּha.Lakh.taH1980,and have cut offוָאַכְרִ֥תָהva.'akh.Ri.tahH3772all thine enemiesאֹיְבֶ֖יךָ'o.ye.Vei.khaH341out of thy sightמִפָּנֶ֑יךָmi.pa.Nei.khaH6440,and have madeוְעָשִׂ֤תִֽיve.'a.Si.tiH6213thee a greatגָּד֔וֹלga.DolH1419nameשֵׁ֣םshemH8034,like unto the nameכְּשֵׁ֥םke.ShemH8034of the greatהַגְּדֹלִ֖יםha.ge.do.LimH1419men that arein the earthבָּאָֽרֶץ׃ba.'A.retzH776.

10Moreover I will appointוְשַׂמְתִּ֣יve.sam.TiH7760a placeמָ֠קוֹםMa.komH4725for my peopleלְעַמִּ֨יle.'a.MiH5971Israelלְיִשְׂרָאֵ֤לle.Yis.ra.'ElH3478,and will plantוּנְטַעְתִּיו֙u.ne.ta'.TivH5193them, that they may dwellוְשָׁכַ֣ןve.sha.KhanH7931in a place of their own, and moveיִרְגַּ֖זyir.GazH7264no more; neither shall the childrenבְנֵֽי־ve.nei-H1121of wickednessעַוְלָה֙'av.LahH5766afflictלְעַנּוֹת֔וֹle.'a.no.ToH6031them any moreיֹסִ֤יפוּyo.Si.fuH3254,as beforetimeבָּרִאשׁוֹנָֽה׃ba.ri.sho.NahH7223,

11And as since the timeהַיּ֗וֹםhai.YomH3117that I commandedצִוִּ֤יתִיtzi.Vi.tiH6680judgesשֹֽׁפְטִים֙sho.fe.TimH8199to beover my peopleעַמִּ֣י'a.MiH5971Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478,and have caused thee to restוַהֲנִיחֹ֥תִיva.ha.ni.Cho.tiH5117from all thine enemiesאֹיְבֶ֑יךָ'o.ye.Vei.khaH341.Also YhwhH3068tellethוְהִגִּ֤ידve.hi.GidH5046thee that he will makeיַעֲשֶׂה־ya.'a.seh-H6213thee an houseבַ֖יִתVa.yitH1004.

12And when thy daysיָמֶ֗יךָya.Mei.khaH3117be fulfilledיִמְלְא֣וּyim.le.'UH4390,and thou shalt sleepוְשָֽׁכַבְתָּ֙ve.sha.khav.TaH7901with thy fathersאֲבֹתֶ֔יךָ'a.vo.Tei.khaH1,I will set upוַהֲקִימֹתִ֤יva.ha.ki.mo.TiH6965thy seedזַרְעֲךָ֙zar.'a.KhaH2233afterאַחֲרֶ֔יךָ'a.cha.Rei.khaH310thee, which shall proceedיֵצֵ֖אye.Tze'H3318out of thy bowelsמִמֵּעֶ֑יךָmi.me.'Ei.khaH4578,and I will establishוַהֲכִינֹתִ֖יva.ha.khi.no.TiH3559his kingdomמַמְלַכְתּֽוֹ׃mam.lakh.ToH4467.

13He shall buildיִבְנֶה־yiv.neh-H1129an houseבַּ֖יִתBa.yitH1004for my nameלִשְׁמִ֑יlish.MiH8034,and I will stablishוְכֹנַנְתִּ֛יve.kho.nan.TiH3559the throneכִּסֵּ֥אki.Se'H3678of his kingdomמַמְלַכְתּ֖וֹmam.lakh.toH4467forעַד־'ad-H5704everעוֹלָֽם׃o.LamH5769.
