Zephaniah 1:4-13

4“So I will 1stretchH5186 outH5186 My handH3027 againstH5921 JudahH3063 And againstH5921 allH3605 the inhabitantsH3427 of JerusalemH3389. And I will 2eliminateH3772 the remnantH7605 of BaalH1168 from thisH2088 placeH4725, And the namesH8034 of the 3idolatrousH3649 priestsH3649 alongH5973 withH5973 the other priestsH3548.5And those who bowH2331 downH2331 on the 4housetopsH1406 to the heavenlyH8064 5lightsH6635, And those who bowH2331 downH2331 and 6swearH7650 to the LordH3068, but also swearH7650 by 7 8MilcomH4445,6And those who have 9turnedH5472 backH5472 from followingH310 the LordH3068, And those whoH834 have 10not soughtH1245 the LordH3068 norH3808 inquiredH1875 of Him.”

7 11 12Be silentH2013 beforeH4480 H6440 the LordH136 13GodH3068! For the 14dayH3117 of the LordH3068 is nearH7138, BecauseH3588 the LordH3068 has preparedH3559 a 15sacrificeH2077, He has 16consecratedH6942 His guestsH7121.8“Then it will comeH1961 aboutH1961 on the dayH3117 of the Lord’sH3068 sacrificeH2077 That I will 17punishH6485 the princesH8269, the king’sH4428 sonsH1121, And allH3605 who clotheH3847 themselves with 18foreignH5237 garmentsH4403.9And on that dayH3117 I will punishH6485 allH3605 who leapH1801 on the temple thresholdH4670, Who fillH4390 the houseH1004 of their 19lordH113 with 20violenceH2555 and deceitH4820.10And on that dayH3117,” declaresH5002 the LordH3068, “There will be the soundH6963 of a cryH6818 from the 21FishH1709 GateH8179, WailingH3215 from the 22 23SecondH4932 Quarter, And a loudH1419 crashH7667 from the 24hillsH1389.11WailH3213, you inhabitantsH3427 of the 25MortarH4389, BecauseH3588 allH3605 the 26peopleH5971 of 27CanaanH3667 will be destroyedH1820; AllH3605 who weighH5187 outH5187 28silverH3701 will be eliminatedH3772.12And it will comeH1961 aboutH1961 at that timeH6256 That I will 29searchH2664 JerusalemH3389 with lampsH5216, And I will punishH6485 the peopleH376 Who are 30 31stagnantH7087 in spiritH8105, Who sayH559 in their heartsH3824, ‘The LordH3068 will 32not doH3190 goodH3190 norH3808 harmH7489!’13Their wealthH2428 will becomeH1961 33plunderH4933, And their housesH1004 desolateH8077; Yes, 34they will buildH1129 housesH1004 but not inhabitH3427 them, And plantH5193 vineyardsH3754 but not drinkH8354 their wineH3196.”
