1The pronouncementH4853 of the wordH1697 of the LordH3068 is against the landH776 of HadrachH2317, with 1DamascusH1834 as its restingH4496 placeH4496 (for the eyesH5869 of mankindH120, especially of allH3605 the tribesH7626 of IsraelH3478, are toward the LordH3068),2And 2HamathH2574 alsoH1571, which bordersH1379 on it; 3TyreH6865 and 4SidonH6721, 5thoughH3588 6they areH2449 7veryH3966 wiseH2449.3For TyreH6865 builtH1129 herself a 8fortressH4692, And 9piledH6651 upH6651 silverH3701 like dustH6083, And 10goldH2742 like the mudH2916 of the streetsH2351.4BeholdH2009, the LordH136 will 11dispossessH3423 her And throwH5221 her wealthH2428 into the seaH3220; And she will be 12consumedH398 with fireH784.5AshkelonH831 will seeH7200 it and beH3372 afraidH3372. GazaH5804 too will writheH2342 inH2342 greatH3966 painH2342; Also EkronH6138, becauseH3588 her hopeH4007 has been ruinedH954.
