Proverbs 24:23-34
23TheseH428 alsoH1571 are 1sayings of the wiseH2450: To 23showH5234 partialityH5234H6440 in judgmentH4941 is not goodH2896.24One 4who saysH559 to the wickedH7563, “You are righteousH6662,” 5PeoplesH5971 will curseH6895 him, nationsH3816 will scoldH2194 him;25But 6for those who rebukeH3198 the wicked there will beH5276 delightH5276, And a goodH2896 blessingH1293 will comeH935 upon them.26One who givesH7725 7a rightH5228 answerH1697 KissesH5401 the lipsH8193.
27PrepareH3559 your workH4399 outsideH2351, And 8makeH6257 it readyH6257 for yourself in the fieldH7704; AfterwardH310, then, buildH1129 your houseH1004.
28Do not be a 9witnessH5707 against your neighborH7453 forH2600 noH2600 reasonH2600, And 10do not deceiveH6601 with your lipsH8193.2911DoH6213 not sayH559, “I shall doH6213 the sameH3651 to him as he has doneH6213 to me; I will 12repayH7725 the personH376 according to his workH6467.”
30I passedH5674 by the fieldH7704 of 13a lazyH6102 oneH6102, And by the vineyardH3754 of a personH120 14lackingH2638 15senseH3820,31And beholdH2009, it was completelyH3605 16overgrownH5927 with weedsH7057; Its surfaceH6440 was coveredH3680 with 17weedsH2738, And its stoneH68 18wallH1447 was brokenH2040 downH2040.32When I sawH2372, I 19reflectedH7896H3820 upon it; I lookedH7200, and receivedH3947 instructionH4148.33“20A littleH4592 sleepH8142, a littleH4592 slumberH8572, A littleH4592 foldingH2264 of the handsH3027 to restH7901,”34Then your povertyH7389 will comeH935 like 21a drifterH1980, And your needH4270 like 22an armedH4043 manH376.
