Amos 7:7-11
7SoH3541 He showedH7200 me, and beholdH2009, the LordH136 was standingH5324 1by a 2verticalH594 wallH2346 with a plumbH594 lineH594 in His handH3027. 8And the LordH3068 saidH559 to me, “3WhatH4100 do you seeH7200, AmosH5986?” And I saidH559, “A plumbH594 lineH594.” Then the LordH136 saidH559, “BeholdH2009 I am about to putH7760 a 4plumbH594 lineH594 In the midstH7130 of My peopleH5971 IsraelH3478. I will not 56spareH5674 them anyH5750 longerH3254H5750.9The 7highH1116 placesH1116 of IsaacH3327 will becomeH8074 desertedH8074, And the 8sanctuariesH4720 of IsraelH3478 will be in ruinsH2717. Then I will 9riseH6965 upH6965 againstH5921 the houseH1004 of JeroboamH3379 with the swordH2719.”
10Then AmaziahH558, the 10priestH3548 of BethelH1008, sentH7971 word to 11JeroboamH3379 kingH4428 of IsraelH3478, sayingH559, “AmosH5986 has 12conspiredH7194 againstH5921 you in the midstH7130 of the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478; the landH776 isH3201 unableH3808H3201 to endureH3557 allH3605 his wordsH1697. 11For thisH3541 isH3541 whatH3541 AmosH5986 saysH559: ‘JeroboamH3379 will dieH4191 by the swordH2719, and IsraelH3478 will certainlyH1540 goH1540 from its landH127 intoH1540 exileH1540.’”
