1 Chronicles 10:8-14

8It cameH1961 aboutH1961 the nextH4283 dayH4283, when the PhilistinesH6430 cameH935 to stripH6584 those killedH2491, that they foundH4672 SaulH7586 and his sonsH1121 fallenH5307 on MountH2022 GilboaH1533. 91So they strippedH6584 him and tookH5375 his headH7218 and his armorH3627 and sentH7971 messengers aroundH5439 the landH776 of the PhilistinesH6430 to carryH1319 the goodH1319 newsH1319 to their idolsH6091 and to the peopleH5971. 10They putH7760 his armorH3627 in the houseH1004 of their godsH430 and 2impaledH8628 his headH1538 in the houseH1004 of DagonH1712. 11When allH3605 Jabesh-gileadH3003H1568 heardH8085 everythingH3605 that the PhilistinesH6430 had doneH6213 to SaulH7586, 123allH3605 the valiantH2428 menH376 gotH6965 upH6965 and tookH5375 away the bodyH1480 of SaulH7586 and the bodiesH1480 of his sonsH1121, and broughtH935 them to JabeshH3003; and they buriedH6912 their bonesH6106 underH8478 the oakH424 in JabeshH3003, and fastedH6684 for sevenH7651 daysH3117.

134So SaulH7586 diedH4191 for his unfaithfulnessH4603H4604 whichH834 he committedH4603 against the LordH3068, becauseH5921 of the wordH1697 of the LordH3068 whichH834 he did not keepH8104; and alsoH1571 5because he askedH7592 counsel of a mediumH178, makingH1875 inquiryH1875 of her, 14and did not inquireH1875 of the LordH3068. Therefore He killedH4191 him and 6turnedH5437 the kingdomH4410 overH5437 to DavidH1732, the sonH1121 of JesseH3448.
