Nahum 3:4-7
4All because of the 1many sexual acts of the prostitute, The charming one, the 2mistress of sorceries, Who 3sells nations by her sexual acts, And families by her sorceries.5“Behold, 4I am against you,” declares the Lord of armies; “And I will 56lift up your skirts over your face, And 7show the nations your nakedness, And the kingdoms your shame.6I will 8throw filth on you And 9declare you worthless, And set you up as a 10spectacle.7And it will come about that all who see you Will 11shrink from you and say, ‘Nineveh is devastated! 12Who will have sympathy for her?’ Where shall I seek comforters for you?”
