Matthew 27:27-30

271Then the soldiers of the governor took Jesus into 2the 3Praetorium and gathered the whole Roman 45cohort to Him.

28And they stripped Him and 6put a red 7cloak on Him.

298And after twisting together a crown of thorns, they put it on His head, and put a 9reed in His right hand; and they knelt down before Him and mocked Him, saying, “10Hail, King of the Jews!”

30And 11they spit on Him, and took the reed and beat Him on the head.
