Mark 9:43-50

43And 1if your hand causes you to sin, cut it off; it is better for you to enter life maimed, than, having your two hands, to go into 23hell, into the 4unquenchable fire.5

45And if your foot is causing you to sin, cut it off; it is better for you to enter life without a foot, than, having your two feet, to be thrown into 67hell.8

47And 9if your eye is causing you to sin, throw it away; it is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye, than, having two eyes, to be thrown into 1011hell,

4812where their worm does not die, and 13the fire is not extinguished.

49For everyone will be salted with fire.

50Salt is good; but 14if the salt becomes unsalty, with what will you 15make it salty again? 16Have salt in yourselves, and 17be at peace with one another.”
