Luke 6:20-25

20And He raised His eyes toward His disciples and began saying, “1Blessed are 2you who are poor, for 3yours is the kingdom of God.

21Blessed are 4you who are hungry now, for you will be satisfied. Blessed are 5you who weep now, for you will laugh.

226Blessed are you when the people hate you, and when they 78exclude you, and insult you, and scorn your name as evil, on account of the Son of Man.

23Rejoice on that day and 9jump for joy, for behold, your reward is great in heaven. For their fathers used to 10treat the prophets 11the same way.

24But woe to 12you who are rich, for 13you are receiving your comfort in full.

25Woe to you who 14are well-fed now, for you will be hungry. Woe to you who laugh now, for you will mourn and weep.
