Luke 24:27-32

27Then beginning 1with 2Moses and 3with all the 4Prophets, He explained to them the things written about Himself in all the Scriptures.

28And they approached the village where they were going, and 5He gave the impression that He was going farther. 29And so they strongly urged Him, saying, “Stay with us, for it is getting toward evening, and the day 6is now nearly over.” So He went in to stay with them. 30And it came about, when He had reclined at the table with them, that He took the bread and 7blessed it, and He broke it and began giving it to them. 31And then their 8eyes were opened and they recognized Him; and He vanished from 9their sight. 32They said to one another, “10Were our hearts not burning within us when He was speaking to us on the road, while He 11was 12explaining the Scriptures to us?”
