Luke 21:31-38

31So you too, when you see these things happening, 1recognize that 2the kingdom of God is near. 32Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all things take place. 333Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away.

34“But 4be on your guard, so that your hearts will not be weighed down with dissipation and drunkenness and the worries of life, and that 5this day will not come on you suddenly, like a trap; 35for it will come upon all those who live on the face of all the earth. 36But 6stay alert at all times, praying that you will have strength to escape all these things that are going to take place, and to 7stand before the Son of Man.”

37Now 8during the day He was 9teaching in the temple, but 1011at evening He would go out and spend the night on 12the 13mountain that is called 14Olivet. 38And all the people would get up 15very early in the morning to come to Him in the temple to listen to Him.
