Luke 19:28-38
28After Jesus said these things, He 1was going on ahead, 2going up to Jerusalem.
293When He approached Bethphage and 4Bethany, near the 5mountain that is called 6Olivet, He sent two of the disciples, 30saying, “Go into the village 7ahead of you; there, as you enter, you will find a colt tied, on which no one yet has ever sat; untie it and bring it here. 31And if anyone asks you, ‘Why are you untying it?’ you shall say this: ‘8The Lord has need of it.’” 32So those who were sent left and found it just as He had told them. 33And as they were untying the colt, its 9owners said to them, “Why are you untying the colt?” 34They said, “10The Lord has need of it.” 35And they brought it to Jesus, 11and they threw their cloaks on the colt and put Jesus on it. 36Now as He was going, they were spreading their cloaks on the road. 37And as soon as He was approaching, near the descent of 12the Mount of Olives, the whole crowd of the disciples began to 13praise God 14joyfully with a loud voice for all the 15miracles which they had seen, 3816shouting: “17Blessed is the 18King, the One who comes in the name of the Lord; Peace in heaven and 19glory in the highest!”
