Lamentations 1:4-5
4The roads 1of Zion are in mourning Because 2no one comes to an appointed feast. All her gates are 3deserted; Her priests groan, Her 4virgins are worried, And as for Zion herself, it is 5bitter for her.5Her adversaries have become 6her masters, Her enemies are 7secure; For the Lord has 89caused her grief Because of the multitude of her wrongdoings; Her little ones have gone away As captives 10led by the enemy.
