Hosea 7:3-7
31With their wickedness they make the 2king happy, And the officials with their 3lies.4They are 4all adulterers, Like an oven heated by the baker, Who stops 5stoking the fire From the time the dough is kneaded until it is leavened.5On the 6day of our king, the officials 7became sick with the heat of wine; He stretched out his hand with 89scoffers,6For their hearts are like an 10oven As they approach their 11plotting; Their 12anger 13smolders all night, In the morning it burns like flaming fire.7All of them are hot like an oven, And they consume their 14rulers; All their kings have fallen. 15None of them calls on Me.
