Hosea 11:8-12

8 1How can I give you up, Ephraim? How can I surrender you, Israel? How can I 2make you like 3Admah? How can I treat you like 4Zeboiim? My heart is turned over within Me, 5All My compassions are kindled.9I will 6not carry out My fierce anger; I will not destroy Ephraim 7again. For 8I am God and not a man, the 9Holy One in your midst, And I will not come in 10wrath.10They will 11walk after the Lord, He will 12roar like a lion; Indeed He will roar, And His sons will come 13trembling from the west.11They will come trembling like birds from 14Egypt, And like 15doves from the land of 16Assyria; And I will 17settle them in their houses, declares the Lord.

12 18Ephraim surrounds Me with 19lies And the house of Israel with deceit; 20Judah is still unruly against God, Even against the Holy One who is faithful.
