Ecclesiastes 5:4-8
4When you 1make a vow to God, do not be late in paying it; for He takes no delight in fools. 2Pay what you vow! 5It is 3better that you not vow, than vow and not pay. 6Do not let your 4speech cause 5you to sin, and do not say in the presence of the messenger of God that it was a 6mistake. Why should God be angry on account of your voice, and destroy the work of your hands? 7For in many dreams and in many words there is futility. Rather, 78fear God.
8If you see 9oppression of the poor and 10denial of justice and righteousness in the province, do not be 11shocked at the 12sight; for one 13official watches over another 14official, and there are higher 15officials over them.
