Acts 2:41-47
41So then, those who had received his word were baptized; and that day there were added about three thousand 12souls. 42They were 3continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to 4the breaking of bread and 5to 6prayer.
437Everyone kept feeling a sense of awe; and many 8wonders and 9signs were taking place through the apostles. 44And all the believers 10were together and 11had all things in common; 45and they 12would sell their property and possessions and share them with all, to the extent that anyone had need. 4613Day by day continuing with one mind in the temple, and 14breaking bread 15from house to house, they were taking their 16meals together with gladness and 17sincerity of heart, 47praising God and 18having favor with all the people. And the Lord 19was adding to 20their number day by day 21those who were being saved.
