Acts 17:11-14
Now these people were more noble-minded than those in 1Thessalonica, 2for they received the word with 3great eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see whether these things were so.
Therefore, 4many of them believed, 5along with a significant number of 6prominent Greek 7women and men.
But when the Jews of 8Thessalonica found out that the word of God had been proclaimed by Paul in 9Berea also, they came there as well, agitating and stirring up the crowds.
Then immediately 10the brothers sent Paul out to go as far as the sea; and 11Silas and 12Timothy remained there.
