Acts 13:27-29

27For those who live in Jerusalem, and their 1rulers, 2recognizing neither Him nor the 3declarations of 4the prophets which are 5read every Sabbath, fulfilled these by condemning Him.

28And though they found no grounds for putting Him to death, they 6asked Pilate that He be executed.

29When they had 7carried out everything that was written concerning Him, 8they took Him down from the 910cross and 11laid Him in a tomb.
