2 Samuel 15:10-13
10But Absalom sent spies throughout the tribes of Israel, saying, “As soon as you hear the sound of the trumpet, then you shall say, ‘1Absalom is king in Hebron!’” 11Then two hundred men went with Absalom from Jerusalem, 2who were invited and 3went 4innocently, for they did not know anything. 12And Absalom sent for 5Ahithophel the Gilonite, David’s counselor, from his city 6Giloh, while he was offering the sacrifices. And the conspiracy was strong, for 7the people continually increased with Absalom.
13Then a messenger came to David, saying, “8The hearts of the people of Israel are 9with Absalom.”
