2 Kings 16:6-9
6At that time Rezin king of Aram restored 1Elath to Aram, and drove the Judeans away from 2Elath; and the 3Arameans came to Elath and have lived there to this day.
74So Ahaz sent messengers to 5Tiglath-pileser king of Assyria, saying, “I am your servant and your son; come up and save me from the 6hand of the king of Aram, and from the 7hand of the king of Israel, who are rising up against me.” 8And 8Ahaz took the silver and gold that was found in the house of the Lord and in the treasuries of the king’s house, and sent a gift to the king of Assyria. 99So the king of Assyria listened to him; and the king of Assyria went up against Damascus and 10captured it, and led the people of it into exile to 11Kir, and put Rezin to death.
