2 Kings 14:7-10

7He 1killed ten thousand of the Edomites in 2the Valley of Salt, and took 3Sela by war, and named it 4Joktheel, as it is to this day.

85Then Amaziah sent messengers to 6Jehoash, the son of Jehoahaz son of Jehu, king of Israel, saying, “7Come, let’s face each other in combat.” 9But Jehoash king of Israel sent messengers to Amaziah king of Judah, saying, “8The thorn bush that was in Lebanon sent word to the cedar that was in Lebanon, saying, ‘Give your daughter to my son 9in marriage.’ But a wild animal that was in Lebanon passed by and trampled the thorn bush. 1010You have indeed 11defeated Edom, and 12your heart 13is elated. Enjoy the glory and stay home; for why should you get involved in trouble so that you would fall, you and Judah with you?”
