1 Corinthians 3:18-23

181Take care that no one deceives himself. 2If anyone among you thinks that he is wise in 3this age, he must become foolish, so that he may become wise.

19For 4the wisdom of this world is foolishness in the sight of God. For it is written: “He is 5the one who catches the wise by their craftiness”;

20and again, “6The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are useless.”

21So then, 7no one is to be boasting in people. For 8all things belong to you,

229whether Paul or Apollos or 10Cephas, or the world or 11life or death, or things present or things to come; all things belong to you,

23and 12you belong to Christ, and 13Christ belongs to God.
