Song of Songs 4:7-16
7“1You are altogether beautiful, my darling, And there is no blemish in you.8Come with me from 2Lebanon, my 3bride, May you come with me from Lebanon. 4Journey down from the summit of 5Amana, From the summit of 6Senir and Hermon, From the dens of lions, From the mountains of leopards.9You have made my heart beat faster, 7my sister, my bride; You have made my heart beat faster with a single glance of your eyes, With a single strand of your 8necklace.109How beautiful is your love, my sister, my bride! How much 10better is your love than wine, And the 11fragrance of your oils Than all kinds of 12spices!11Your lips, my bride, 13drip 14honey; Honey and milk are under your tongue, And the fragrance of your garments is like the 15fragrance of Lebanon.12A garden locked is my sister, my bride, A 16rock garden locked, a 17spring 18sealed up.13Your shoots are an 1920orchard of 21pomegranates With 22choice fruits, 23henna with nard plants,1424Nard and saffron, calamus and 25cinnamon, With all the trees of 26frankincense, 27Myrrh and aloes, along with all the finest 28spices.15You are a garden spring, A well of 2930fresh water, And streams flowing from Lebanon.”
16“31Awake, O north wind, And come, wind of the south; Make my 32garden breathe out fragrance, Let its 33spices 34be wafted abroad. May 35my beloved come into his garden And eat its 36choice fruits!”
