1“1 2How beautiful 3you are, my darling, 4How beautiful you are! Your 5eyes are like doves 6behind your veil; Your 7hair is like a flock of goats That have descended from Mount 8Gilead.2Your 9teeth are like a flock of newly shorn ewes Which have come up from their washing, All of which bear twins, And not one among them has 10lost her young.3Your lips are like a 11scarlet thread, And your 12mouth is lovely. Your 13temples are like a slice of a pomegranate Behind your veil.4Your 14neck is like the tower of David, Built 15with rows of stones On which are 16hung a thousand shields, All the round 17shields of the mighty men.5Your 18two breasts are like two fawns, Twins of a gazelle Which 19feed among the lilies.
