Song of Songs 1:3-6

3Your 1oils have a pleasing fragrance, Your 2name is like 3purified oil; Therefore the 45maidens love you.4Draw me after you and let us run together! The 6king has brought me into his chambers.” “7We will rejoice in you and be glad; We will 8extol your 9love more than wine. Rightly do they love you.”

5“10I am black but 11lovely, O 12daughters of Jerusalem, Like the 13tents of 14Kedar, Like the curtains of Solomon.6Do not stare at me because I am 15swarthy, For the sun has burned me. My 16mother’s sons were angry with me; They made me 17caretaker of the vineyards, But I have not taken care of my own vineyard.
