Romans 15:8-13

8For I say that Christ has become a servant to 1the circumcision on behalf of the truth of God to confirm 2the promises given to the fathers, 9and for 3the Gentiles to 4glorify God for His mercy; as it is written, “5Therefore I will 6give praise to You among the Gentiles, And I will sing to Your name.” 10Again he says, “7Rejoice, O Gentiles, with His people.” 11And again, “8Praise the Lord all you Gentiles, And let all the peoples praise Him.” 12Again Isaiah says, “9There shall come 10the root of Jesse, And He who arises to rule over the Gentiles, 11In Him shall the Gentiles hope.” 13Now may the God of hope fill you with all 12joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope 13by the power of the Holy Spirit.
