Romans 10:4-10

4For 1Christ is the 2end of the law for righteousness to 3everyone who believes.

5For Moses writes that the man who practices the righteousness which is 4based on law 5shall live 6by that righteousness. 6But 7the righteousness 8based on faith speaks as follows: “9Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’ (that is, to bring Christ down), 7or ‘Who will descend into the 10abyss?’ (that is, to 11bring Christ up from the dead).” 8But what does it say? “12The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart”--that is, the word of faith which we are preaching, 913that 14if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and 15believe in your heart that 16God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; 10for with the heart a person believes, 17resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, 18resulting in salvation.
