1“And nowוְעַתָּ֗הve.'a.TahH6258thisH2088commandmentהַמִּצְוָ֥הha.mitz.VahH4687is for you, O priestsהַכֹּהֲנִֽים׃ha.ko.ha.NimH3548.

2Ifאִם־'im-H518you donot listenתִשְׁמְע֡וּtish.me.'UH8085,and ifוְאִם־ve.'im-H518you do not takeתָשִׂ֨ימוּta.Si.muH7760it to heartלֵ֜בlevH3820to giveלָתֵ֧תla.TetH5414honorכָּב֣וֹדka.VodH3519to My nameלִשְׁמִ֗יlish.MiH8034,”saysאָמַר֙'a.MarH559the Lordיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068of hostsצְבָא֔וֹתtze.va.'otH6635, “then I will sendוְשִׁלַּחְתִּ֤יve.shi.lach.TiH7971thecurseהַמְּאֵרָ֔הha.me.'e.RahH3994upon you and I will curseוְאָרוֹתִ֖יve.'a.ro.TiH779your blessingsבִּרְכֽוֹתֵיכֶ֑םbir.kho.tei.KhemH1293;and indeedוְגַם֙ve.GamH1571, I havecursedאָרוֹתִ֔יהָ'a.ro.Ti.haH779them already,becauseכִּ֥יkiH3588you are not takingשָׂמִ֥יםsa.MimH7760itto heartלֵֽב׃LevH3820.

3BeholdH2009, I am going torebukeגֹעֵ֤רgo.'ErH1605youroffspringהַזֶּ֔רַעha.Ze.ra'H2233, and I willspreadוְזֵרִ֤יתִיve.ze.Ri.tiH2219refuseפֶ֙רֶשׁ֙fe.reshH6569on your facesפְּנֵיכֶ֔םpe.nei.KhemH6440, therefuseפֶּ֖רֶשׁPe.reshH6569of yourfeastsחַגֵּיכֶ֑םcha.gei.KhemH2282;and you will be takenוְנָשָׂ֥אve.na.Sa'H5375away with it.

4Then you will knowוִֽידַעְתֶּ֕םvi.da'.TemH3045that I have sentשִׁלַּ֣חְתִּיshi.Lach.tiH7971thisH2088commandmentהַמִּצְוָ֣הha.mitz.VahH4687to you, that Mycovenantבְּרִיתִי֙be.ri.TiH1285maycontinueלִֽהְי֤וֹתlih.YotH1961with Leviלֵוִ֔יle.ViH3878,”saysאָמַ֖ר'a.MarH559the Lordיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068of hostsצְבָאֽוֹת׃tze.va.'otH6635.

5“My covenantבְּרִיתִ֣י׀be.ri.TiH1285with him was one oflifeH2425andpeaceוְהַ֨שָּׁל֔וֹםve.Ha.sha.LomH7965,and I gaveוָאֶתְּנֵֽם־va.'e.te.nem-H5414them to him as an object ofreverenceמוֹרָ֖אmo.Ra'H4172; so hereveredוַיִּֽירָאֵ֑נִיvai.yi.ra.'E.niH3372Me and stoodH2865in aweH2865of My nameשְׁמִ֖יshe.MiH8034.

6Trueאֱמֶת֙'e.MetH571instructionתּוֹרַ֤תto.RatH8451was in his mouthבְּפִ֔יהוּbe.Fi.huH6310and unrighteousnessH5767was not foundנִמְצָ֣אnim.Tza'H4672on his lipsבִשְׂפָתָ֑יוvis.fa.TavH8193;he walkedהָלַ֣ךְha.LakhH1980with Me in peaceבְּשָׁל֤וֹםbe.sha.LomH7965and uprightnessוּבְמִישׁוֹר֙u.ve.mi.shOrH4334, and heturnedהֵשִׁ֥יבhe.ShivH7725manyוְרַבִּ֖יםve.ra.BimH7227backH7725from iniquityמֵעָוֹֽן׃me.'a.VonH5771.

7For the lipsשִׂפְתֵ֤יsif.TeiH8193of a priestכֹהֵן֙kho.HenH3548should preserveיִשְׁמְרוּ־yish.me.ru-H8104knowledgeדַ֔עַתDa.'atH1847, and men shouldseekיְבַקְשׁ֣וּye.vak.ShuH1245instructionוְתוֹרָ֖הve.to.RahH8451from his mouthמִפִּ֑יהוּmi.Pi.huH6310; for he is themessengerמַלְאַ֥ךְmal.'AkhH4397of the Lordיְהוָֽה־Yah.weh-H3068of hostsצְבָא֖וֹתtze.va.'otH6635.

8But as for you, you have turnedH5493asideסַרְתֶּ֣םsar.TemH5493from the wayהַדֶּ֔רֶךְha.De.rekhH1870;you have caused manyרַבִּ֖יםra.BimH7227tostumbleהִכְשַׁלְתֶּ֥םhikh.shal.TemH3782by the instructionבַּתּוֹרָ֑הba.to.RahH8451; you havecorruptedשִֽׁחַתֶּם֙shi.cha.TemH7843the covenantבְּרִ֣יתbe.RitH1285of Leviהַלֵּוִ֔יha.le.ViH3878,”saysאָמַ֖ר'a.MarH559the Lordיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068of hostsצְבָאֽוֹת׃tze.va.'otH6635.

9“SoI alsoוְגַם־ve.gam-H1571have madeנָתַ֧תִּיna.Ta.tiH5414you despisedנִבְזִ֥יםniv.ZimH959andabasedוּשְׁפָלִ֖יםu.she.fa.LimH8217before allלְכָל־le.kholH3605the peopleהָעָ֑םha.'AmH5971,justכְּפִ֗י אֲשֶׁ֤רke.Fi 'a.SherH6310 H834as you are not keepingשֹׁמְרִ֣יםsho.me.RimH8104My waysדְּרָכַ֔יde.ra.KhaiH1870but are showingH5375partialityפָּנִ֖יםpa.NimH5375 H6440in theinstructionבַּתּוֹרָֽה׃ פba.to.RahH8451.

14Yet you sayוַאֲמַרְתֶּ֖םva.'a.mar.TemH559, ‘For whatH4100reasonעַל־'al-H5921 H4100?’Becauseעַ֡ל כִּי־'al ki-H5921 H3588the Lordיְהוָה֩Yah.wehH3068has been a witnessהֵעִ֨ידhe.'IdH5749betweenH996you and thewifeאֵ֣שֶׁת'E.shetH802of your youthנְעוּרֶ֗יךָne.'u.Rei.khaH5271,against whomאֲשֶׁ֤ר'a.SherH834you have dealtבָּגַ֣דְתָּהba.Gad.tahH898treacherouslyH898,though she is your companionחֲבֶרְתְּךָ֖cha.ver.te.KhaH2278and your wifeוְאֵ֥שֶׁתve.'E.shetH802by covenantבְּרִיתֶֽךָ׃be.ri.Te.khaH1285.

15But not oneאֶחָ֣ד'e.ChadH259hasdoneעָשָׂ֗ה'a.SahH6213sowho has a remnantוּשְׁאָ֥רu.she.'ArH7605of the Spiritר֙וּחַ֙Ru.achH7307. Andwhatוּמָה֙u.MahH4100did thatoneהָֽאֶחָ֔דha.'e.ChadH259dowhile he was seekingמְבַקֵּ֖שׁme.va.KeshH1245agodlyאֱלֹהִ֑ים'E.lo.HimH430offspringזֶ֣רַעZe.ra'H2233?Takeוְנִשְׁמַרְתֶּם֙ve.nish.mar.TemH8104heedH8104then to your spiritבְּר֣וּחֲכֶ֔םbe.Ru.cha.KhemH7307,and let noאַל־'al-H408one dealיִבְגֹּֽד׃yiv.GodH898treacherouslyH898against the wifeוּבְאֵ֥שֶׁתu.ve.'E.shetH802of your youthנְעוּרֶ֖יךָne.'u.Rei.khaH5271.

16ForI hateשָׂנֵ֣אsa.Ne'H8130divorceשַׁלַּ֗חsha.LachH7971,”saysאָמַ֤ר'a.MarH559the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068,the Godאֱלֹהֵ֣י'e.lo.HeiH430of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478, “andhim who coversוְכִסָּ֤הve.khi.SahH3680his garmentלְבוּשׁ֔וֹle.vu.ShoH3830withwrongחָמָס֙cha.MasH2555,”saysאָמַ֖ר'a.MarH559the Lordיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068of hostsצְבָא֑וֹתtze.va.'otH6635. “So takeוְנִשְׁמַרְתֶּ֥םve.nish.mar.TemH8104heedH8104to your spiritבְּרוּחֲכֶ֖םbe.ru.cha.KhemH7307,that you do not dealH898treacherouslyתִבְגֹּֽדוּ׃ סtiv.Go.duH898.”
